Hello Windy City!

I am planning a trip in late July to see some friends and they suggested I stay "Downtown" trying to do some research is the River North the best area to stay or is another area better?

Also if any providers have a suggestion as to Hotels that don't need a key card to get upstairs in the downtown area? I only entertain 1 date per day but I know some clients are worried about being seen in the lobby with a pretty stranger, lol.

Thanks for the help, so excited to finally be visiting!

I suspect you posted this on a local board so saw no need to mention the city, but TER often grabs these kinds of posts and puts them on this board, thus the need to mention the city involved.

Remember - don't mention a specific hotel on an open post - send a PM instead.

Is it REALLY that difficult to figure out what city is meant by the "Windy City"

It's kind of like saying Bean Town, The Big Apple, MoTown, the Big D, or a whole host of other cities that almost everyone should know.

Boston has a higher mean wind speed than Chicago.  We also have way windier roads.

Sorry, I missed her opening.
