in downtown Minneapolis.  As for must see sights, Mall of America, the Foshay tower in downtown Minneapolis, and if you want to see some more of Minnesota, Duluth is a very scenic city.

Just got back from a visit to Minneapolis and really enjoyed a tour of Paisley Park. It's only about 18 miles outside of the city and well worth it to see where Prince lived and created his musical masterpieces.

In MN, seafood = walleye.  Seriously, the walleye is the state fish.

I occasionally visit Minneapolis to visit with family.  We used to dine out at nice restaurant located in a small quaint town on the shores of Lake Minnetonka.  I always ordered the broiled walleye...it was delicious!  Unfortunately, that restaurant has closed its doors.  So, I can't make a recommendation on a specific restaurant, but I am including a link to Minneapolis' best walleye restaurants.  Hope this helps.
