TER Admin says advertisements, no matter how thinly disguised, are OK, such as ---

"Oh I'm visiting X city on D date and have never heard of hotel reviews or google maps. Where should I stay?"
or
"I'm thinking of touring but don't know where to go.  What metro area would you see me at if I showed up?"
or
"I'm a legend in my own mind and everyone wants me.  Just wanted to let you all know so cum see me here at ..."

To get an ad post banned from a discussion forum, it probably has to be as blatant as to say ---

"THIS IS AN ADVERTISEMENT.
THE OPINIONS EXPRESSED DO NOT REPRESENT THE VIEW OF ANY MEMBER EXCEPT THE ADVERTISER."
