Sorry, but providers want to treat this like a business and only use certain principles of the business model.  I've never had to put down a deposit to get an oil change, or make a reservation at a restaurant, so why should I feel comfortable just giving a provider money on a one sided transaction that only benefits the provider?  And by one-sided I mean a provider can cancel a session for whatever reason e.g. sick dog, family emergency, personal emergency, and many keep the deposit, however if a client does that then they are SOL, it's just not for me.  Add to that, many of the same providers de-list but still want a deposit for their time.  So the client doesn't know what they're getting for their money spent.

Another thing is, money spent back in the day used to mean something, for example if you spent 400 or 500, then you knew what you were going to get.  I read reviews daily of providers charging 600+ and declining MSOG because it's 1 pop per session.  Or providers charging 500/600 and don't do GFE.  But of course some wouldn't know that because they de-list.  Also, mandatory minimums or provider suggested suggested minimums are trash.  I couldn't imagine being in this game as long as I have been if my initial sessions where how many providers operate in todays climate.

hows your 2025 going. I think unfortunately the site never went back to be like it used to be. The escorting game really took a turn i would say slightly for the better but the review system is still a useful tool. It is just not a leverage tool for the ill intentioned hobbyist to coerce escorts like it once was (own experience).
I guess what im asking is, how does everyone here feel about the state of the game? do you guys think it got a bit too hard? like for example deposits is a largely the industry standard now which i support. too many flakes after covid and too many time wasters. Im sure it screwed some people out of booking new escorts but hey, if you can have a proton email, you can have a venmo or cashapp right? i feel some people just dont wanna adapt on principle, and thats fine by me.
