I have the same question relative to Washington DC and Northern Virginia.

date? lol. only thing yahoo groups are good for is the photo section. most groups are overrun by spammers and horny guys "looking for hot trannies in ____"

Well, you are always welcome to visit our group!  But it's not a bulletin board.  As MM said we mainly use ours for photos and funny files.

We are phasing it out and moving things to our web site and video store.

I think yahoo groups are best for messaging groups of people.  While sites like TER and other local contact sites are better for conversation.
