If you use condoms for oral and penetration, you've pretty much eliminated the risks unless you're doing a lot of DFK.  I've always thought oral on a TS was safer than oral on a GG because condoms are easier to use than the types of protection available for use with oral sex on women.

getting cold sores is nothing to worry about. Considering 50-80% of the U.S. adult population already have it, an individual would have to abstain from sex completely or be extremely lucky throughout his/her life not to get it at some point.
