This is my reply to the post on this subject.  From my experience with Transsexuals over the years, my observation is that White and Black transsexuals, AMERICAN transsexuals, have to deal with the pressures of concealing their true self and having to deal with the ridicule from over sensitive american culture.  Latina and Asian transsexuals, MOST from foreign countries (Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, etc.) can just simply move away from their country and jump into our society not necessarily knowing what kind of reception they will get during their attemts to assimilate into our society.  When they do move to our country, they tend to move into highly gay communities (New York, Los Angeles, San Fancisco to name a few). There they will experience less ridicule and be more accepted.  Most transsexuals I see live in or around Hollywood and West Hollywood, highly tolerant ares for gays.  There is a more comfort zone living in these areas.  

Now, I also think Latina and Asian transsexuals overall look better and more feminine.  Every white transsexual that I have seen (except Kim Devine) cannot compare to the feminine appearance of a TS Ruby or a Cassandra Ela.  I see the transition for Latinas and Asians to be easier than whites and blacks.  I have yet to see a true feminine Black transsexual.  I am sure there are many out there, I just haven't run into any.

As far as Latin culture being more accepting of gays, you are wrong.  Latin culture, especially Mexican culture, which is half my culture, really raise their boys to me "macho" and the extended family structure is strong and they do not accept homosexuality.
