Is it appropriate/normal to ask a provider if she has a known STD? Should you also ask if she has been tested recently? Do guys normally ask or is it just don't ask don't tell?

Wrap it and your problem is almost a non issue or close.  In my opinion, if a provider is seeing clients with an STD, she sure won't tell ya and hope she does not spread it.  Thats my take.

offer your paper up front, it goes both way. But any provider who's love themselves and care for their clients would be able to show you a paper, best is just play safe.
