It's highly unlikely that anyone is going to go to much effort to set up a TS sting on hobbyists.

TS's are like 1% of the total escort market.  For the same effort LE can do a sting and grab 50 straight guys.

However - in Las Vegas they have and do do stings against TS providers specifically.  But I've never heard of one against hobbyists.

Moral of the story - research.
