I will often have a "scouting" session with a girl where I pay the standard price and see what she offers for that and what costs more. Then, if she's good, I'll go back for seconds and pay more for the good stuff. Works out well for both parties IMO.

I think most hobbyists will say they view it as a way for the provider to get more money out of a client. That is probably true of the ones that don't explain a difference between their standard rate and VIP...some make it very clear what additionals you'll get with VIP. I've only been with a couple providers who advertised a VIP rate. I didn't go for the VIP and didn't feel like anything was lacking, but I'm pretty basic in my desires...nothing unusual or exotic. I'd say avoid the VIP unless its clear what added "features" that means and it's what you want. I find that being a respectful guy with good hygiene and an easy going personality pays dividends. The previous poster's idea of taking a "test drive" at the regular donation rate is good advice. And as always do your research, read reviews and go with quality providers...those steps should never be skipped, most people that do regret it.
Very good reply, john. I just wish more of the providers had reviews. Philly has a very small number of quality providers, and unlike DC and NYC not too many well reviewed quality providers visit here.
