Evidently there wasn't anything in your ad that said your trans, or your ad was in the wrong section.

If you're advertised in the trans section of any escort site and there is a picture of you with a bulge even if blurred, then this was a rookie bonehead mistake on the part of the client. Remember the internet is actually creating multiple environments that make people seem dumber. or actually dumber lol. So much knowledge at everyone's finger tips without much rational thought, common sense or sensibility. It's good the person was nice about it.  

I kind of agree that this is somewhat on you. Yes, he should read all of your ad, so it's more his fault than it is yours. However, you need to know that many clients skim and miss details. It's important that you make it crystal clear if you want to avoid more of these situations. I took a look at your ad.

 
First, the good news here is that he thought you were just another pretty woman. I can see how a man can think that as well. Blurring your bulge leaves it to the imagination. The only 100% dead giveaway is that you list your gender as Trans Woman. Otherwise, nothing else makes it clear. Adding TS in front of your name is ideal. Even your website named after you doesn't indict it. Then, in your description you call yourself a woman and say nothing whatsoever about being Trans, or even anything that would clue someone in, like being verse/top/bottom.

 
I get that for many Trans Women, you identify as a woman. Absolutely fine IMO. But when you enter the escort world, your clients are not seeing you just because you're like any other woman. They are seeing you because as a Trans Woman you have something uniquely different than a woman who was born a woman. Glad he was a gentleman about it. This could have gone much worse.

It’s on him. Reading your ad leaves me no doubts. Your pictures, however, could, understandably, be seen either trans or not. It depends on the client’s perception. You do present as female as anyone. A couple pics of you wearing dresses, are easily misconstrued. Very feminine. I couldn’t say what you could do differently, without wearing less. I would have stayed, FWIW.

Your ad is pretty clear. Tryst’s filter format can be a bit confusing as TS ads show up under 2 categories. I thought your ad was pretty clear.  

The whole thing sounds off.

Always show potential clients the cock in pics. This way they always know what they are getting themselves into.  

I personally like to know how hung the gal is. Not a fan of gals with small peters.

I can understand why providers don’t want to show explicit pics of their package. A lot of times, I have to infer size by reading between the lines and getting the info by inference. I don’t want to be surprised by a lot bigger unit, when I still haven’t gotten comfortable with bigger than my usual Max size. Then, too, we all know about photoshop and playing with actual size. Generally bigger is claimed than the actual size, so I feel mostly safe. So, in my estimation, show it or not, I’ll go by description or my estimate based on other physical factors. And there are the post ops who are shy about it. Whatever. I think you really don’t need to run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes it. Honesty in advertising is always welcome, just give an accurate description ( and I will too, if requested).

Your ad states that you’re trans in two different areas, and you have the blurred photo of your bulge. IMO, that should be enough for any client to figure it out. I did notice that Tryst might have confused things for the client. At the bottom of each Tryst ad there are two sections of additional ads, one called “Similar Profiles” and the other called “Recommended for You.” I often look in these sections before making my final choice (although I don’t use Tryst ads that much; I usually start with TSE then TS4R as backup, but that’s for another thread). Anyway, in the first section under your particular ad, there are ads shown for both trans and for cis providers, and in the second section, almost every ad is for a cis provider! I don’t know why, in a major metro area like DC, that Tryst can’t come up with enough other trans ads to put in those sections. That might make it easier for a prospective client if they could see only other trans ads comparable to yours. But that’s out of your hands, Tryst needs to take care of that.

Like others said, if it had been me, I would have stayed. You look (and sound) like someone I would enjoy spending time with. Hope you don’t have any other incidents like this!
