Would you cover your own travel to see them??

Do you do that?? I am seriously considering it for one of the guys here.. I have gotten very interested in seeing him after our exchanges of PMs..

On top of the time we are going to have it would have other benefits too I believe..

Don't do it.  You're a business person, and when you start doing stuff for free, you start cutting into your margins.

H'mm that is a tough one. If you are traveling to an area to see just one person and you both work it out then yeah, it is to be expected that there is a certain cost involved in traveling and getting from point a to b. Now if you were to just post you were going to be traveling to a specific area? Well that may be different. But, even if this were the case, if you still made plans with one person ahead of time that put you in the area. Then there should be some help requested. I would think anyway.

Personally, if someone were to be traveling to see me? I think I would just volunteer to help. It is only right. I take it the person has contacted you, so if they initiated it then they should help.

But I too know that I could meet someone where they may be going or area in which they live and 'hang' out after our visit and recoup my funds..

Fly or drive.. Of course if I drive I will access to  - well lets say extra "toys".. God you got to love Liberator ramp/wedge combos.. hehehehe Gets all the right spots in all the best positions.. G spot anyone??

I have had offers to travel.. Gun shy since the first went so bad..

I am eager to travel/tour and I am considering (seriously mind you) to make such a trip out of state soon..
I feel if I have at least one sure thing then it will not be a bad trip.. Especially if that meeting was for an extended time, say half day or whole day.. So meeting someone halfway on travel or covering travel in a case like this seems 'logical'.. Sometimes give and take goes a long way..

On a note: I am very simple.. I don't need fancy places to stay or bunches of glitter and glamor.. Just "nice" works..
Just a simple ole country girl... A glass of tea, rocking chair and a magnolia tree work just fine..

This ia a very good point. Not to knock anyone out there. But, cover yourself first. At least then you will have no worries and will most likely enjoy yourself tht much more.

Like this week.. I am offering to get remote incall locations near those who might be interested around my local area.. At my expense of course and hang out there for the day..
Day one - slow - But of course not dead..
And over the weekend I got a lot of my regular guys wanting some time this week. So they will be a calling too..

This is a question I have pondered for years now, as most people don't end up visiting Portland all that often. So guys are constantly asking me to come visit, LA, Chicago, New York, Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, you name it.

I have close friends in many of those places even. But I feel very hesitant to spend $500 on a plane ticket, fly to Chicago, and then take the risk that the gent will get spooked at the last moment by his wife, or lose his play money at the race track, or get sick, you name it.

So I generally end up telling guys, they can buy my plane ticket and book my hotel room, unless its Chicago, New York, Philly, Austin, SF, Nashville (all places that I have wonderful places to stay) in which case they can just buy the ticket. But not many guys are free to purchase tickets without worrying about someone else finding out.

So...I tell them, wait for me to go traveling. It's been 2 years since I've been back east for work, and about that amount of time for many other places as well, I'm just not one of those girls that tours all the time and sees hundreds of guys in different cities all year long. I like my life at home, I like the woods and mountains, I like my piano and my lover.

I do occasionally drive up to Seattle for work (about 3 hours each way with no traffic) and sometimes that goes well, and sometimes its a drag. I had one instance last winter when I drove up to see a guy, my car heater had just broken and it was freezing cold. When I got there, he had chickened out, said he thought I was too nice to pay for sex. He gave me my fee, but we just ended up eating out. I was totally bummed out, dammit I needed someone to help warm my frozen body, and I could have just stayed home and seen a regular. Other times, its worked out real well to see an individual guy. It all depends on the chemistry and the way things play out.

Probably best to have him send you a money order for half the fee up front to cover travel costs beforehand, that way if anything should happen you don't suffer financially because of it.

I have to start listening to Country Music alot more.

No I'm all rocknroll. I just live in the country. Ok, I like some country (Emmy Lou Harris, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, Lefty Frizzel, Allison Krauss) but mostly rocknroll, jazz, classical, french pop from the 60's.

If the purpase of your visit is really just to see him then he should cover those expenses.  I think that is fair.  But if you use the money to get a free trip to his city then extend your stay to be a visiting lady, then perhaps he should not expect to cover your costs.

Perhaps you should post an ad on the local board(s) or ad site to see if you can generate enough business to make the trip worth your time and expense.  

I just think that if you are going to the city to see him then see him on his dime, then leave.  If you plan to see him and do other business then I don't think he should be asked to cover any expense other than your typical hourly rate (some ladies have a higher hourly rate when they travel to help cover travel expenses).

For me I'd be a bit upset if I paid your travel expenses then you conducted other business, but if you paid the travel see anyone or everyone else.

My free advise is worth every penny you paid for it.

I guess to I am a bit different "Girl Friend" type..
I am prone to following my 'desires', makes me popular with the guys at the swing clubs..
I see a guy I like I say 'HI' and take it as far as I can go..

So someone here has sparked my interest.. What can I say the chemistry is already there.. Where he is is near a place I want to go anyway and I feel comfortable that it would be a good starting point for a short tour leg back home..
Spend a day or so near him for him.. Then strike out to the close tier one city for a couple of days and jump like that back home over the course of a week or so..
Seems like a doable plan..

I am not really into the whole touring thing either.. But I do want to give it a try..

The auto commuting is what I am into the next couple of weeks..
I have it in my ads and at my site that I will set up remote incall locations.. Sort of following what a couple other girls do around here.. Make a date, get a room in his area, see him then work the area till about 10 or so then head home...

I know it is a doable thing. Cause across the city just 25.8 miles away I have like 15 contacts yet to see.. My incall is to far away?? I make outcalls all the time over there.. So out of that 15 I would get like two maybe three.. That would be a day as that is my usual max.. SO I am waiting to see if I get a fish.. Well not waiting still doing my thing..
LOL Sorry was just thinking about my cute regular guy today.. He always gets the hiccups when I finish him off with a BBBJ.. It is so cute..

Anyway sound advice has been obtained.. I am sure I will be going on this trip.. The weather will be fine and so will our time.. I am sure it will make great reading..

OK, With a mix like that your not all country. But, Frizzel? Careful now, that is going old school country. LOL LOL

If he is so hot to see you, have him ante up your travel expenses. Only fair or he comes to you. There are gals out here in Hollywood/W. Hollywood that charge $200 incall and say on Eros they do outcall and I call and ask how much, first they have no clue where LAX airport is which is close to where I live - you might as well tell them Glasgow, Scotland and they would not know the difference, but after you explain you are about 25 minutes from Hollywood they immediately request $400-800 so I don't see why it would be unfair for you to have the guy pay up.
