For me, I think it’s like most things…I don’t mind so much the idea of not getting what I want. What ends up bothering me is having paid for it. Reviews give a sense of security that 1) the girl is real and 2) that she has a record of providing services that you’re looking for. It’s difficult for some people to consider spending hundreds of dollars on an unknown quantity. In my opinion, if I want to see a girl and can’t get the info I’m looking for from reviews, I’ll just ask! One of my biggest pet peeves is seeing negative reviews based on a girl not providing a specific service that the reviewer never clarified was desired prior to agreeing to the session.  

I agree that the troubles of seeing female escorts is much less with TS providers (i.e. being robbed, trick rolled, etc.) because it’s not as high-volume of an industry. We should enjoy this while we can because that could change!

I also think there are a lot of amazing girls out there that don’t have reviews because they’re new to the game or they’ve only seen clients who don’t write reviews. I think those of us that do write reviews should consider these girls and, if their service is deserving, giving them a review that will generate business for them. I always feel like that’s the least I can do.

I share a lot of the same perspective with timotl, and while I haven't taken as many chances with un-reviewed girls as him, I've had my fair share. Yes, I've been very disappointed and even ripped off a few times, but overall I've done better than average with un-reviewed girls. However, the average with reviewed girls has only been 15-20% better, I've had terrible sessions with well reviewed girls also.

The following are general trans provider 101s that have been bought up here before:
1-Reviewed or not, you still have to learn to qualify a provider, do the research, that alone will improve you odds.

2-The more you know your fantasies, likes and dislikes, the more success you will have.  

3-Stop thinking this is some kind of service or product like anything else out there.  

4-Learn to speak their language, each provider is different. Like a good salesperson you need to be able to size them up and understand what their must haves are, their boundaries. In addition to timotl saying he's probably more the glass half full type, he probably isn't an asshole and can navigate set up, overall communication and the session better regardless the situation. That could be one of the most important things to have better sessions learning to go with the flow and making the best of any situation.

5-To say don't be an asshole should be obvious but it's not. Many clients blow it becasue they think they are the one in charge or control. Not in a top bottom way, but rather you can't push them outside of their comfort zone too far, again their must haves.  

6-Interpratation of reviews. I may think the session I just had was a 7 or 8 on performance and someone else give the same provider and thought it was a 10 or another person thinks it's a 5 or 6 level performance.  

7-Inacuracy of reviews. Similar to how you interpret something but more about how factual what others are stating things. Topic # 6 is what your opinion says to you about what the reviewers opinion you are reading. For example my peeve topic, more and more providers have a 9-10 or 10+ inch cock these days. Have cocks grown bigger the last 10 years? Of course not but more reviews by reviewers with less experience who really enjoyed themselves and it affected their review and stats.  

Good question that I think will help both the more seasoned and newbies!  

I will occasionally see unreviewed providers or TOFTT but I have a strong preference for reviewed providers. There are a lot of questions that I'd rather have answered up front. Are the girls pics accurate? Is she GFE/PSE or not? What does she do or not do? Is she rough or more sensual? If she claims to be a top or versatile, can she actually top? I just tend to have better luck with reviewed girls than non-reviewed girls.

Yeah on another note the girls that are unreviewed might just say they will do things then hurry the session up and get you out ASAP I had my regular say her friends do that nothing pisses me off more then trying a unreview escort willing to pay good money just to be rushed out, also reading reviews also allows me to see what kind of provider they are how safe they are a unreview provider I don't know if they are playing it safe if they do drugs etc typically providers that leave reviews gives us a great heads up what we can possibly run into, sometimes looks can make us act a way of exploring that escort but might not be the best experience or be catfished which I really appreciate getting real reviews from you guys who do leave them to prevent this.

I think it depends on what one's acceptable risk threshold is and what you consider good vs. bad. For me, I don't want to see a lady who has less than a 7 in either category. And, I hobby once every month or two, so when I do, if it's a fail, I'm super disappointed.  

 
I see you have over 200 reviews and took a quick look. You have 40 reviews with a 5 or less in at least one of the two categories. You have an additional 26 that have a 6 in one of the two categories. That's 66 reviews of ladies I would not want to see. Given that's out of 238 reviews, that's slighly more than 25% of the time, or 1 out of every 4. And, these are not all TOFTTs. I'm going to assume that those who had reviews were more likely to not be reviewed poorly, which means those you did TOFTT had even lower returns.

 
I'm not sure I understand how you are baffled and that you were only truly disappointed once. If I am reading that correctly, then your low marks on some ladies doesn't mean the same thing to you that it does to me. Or, you just have lower expectations. For me, when I am paying, I don't want average. I want above average. And, why should I want average when there are plenty of above average options out there?

Look to see if she can text clear information about actual services, not 1 word / vague answers. Gives clear info on rates, no VIP rate bullcrap.  

If she points to a hot video of her in action - meaningless to me. I don't know if it is all staged, or maybe her longtime boyfriend.  

I guess it comes down to making sure a girl with no reviews has good communication skills and is patient.
This philosophy did lead to meeting one of my ATF Asian gals.

What's crazy is that you're baffled by guys on a review site that won't see girls that aren't reviewed lol, jk.  I think the hesitation comes from all that you stated.  I do see unreviewed girls, but within reason.  Things have to line up, pics have to be consistent, looks have to be attractive, and the price has to be right.  300 is my limited in most cases, anything above that has to be reviewed.  A few pluses will get me to the door without a review, agreement to FT verify being one of them.  Some girls try to charge to FT verify, which is ass backwards and a huge red flag to me.  I think the more money a client has to play with is a great factor in the risk a client is willing to take.  I don't think there is necessarily an obsession with seeing only reviewed girls, but as a client, I want to be as certain as possible of what I am going to get for my money spent.  

Back in the 00's, id take a risk. I had both, money and time to burn. I had my share of dissapointments but man did i have some good adventures.

Fast forward to today...just dont have the time to spare. Id rather know exactly what im getting into before i bother making the drive and dealing with any potential bullshit. Plus, now i know EXACTLY what im looking for in a ts provider and i dont like surprises or being dissappointed.
