First, do your research, google the phone, etc...Then if you decide to call, go with your gut feeling if you plan to take a chance.

Someone out there has to take one for the team eventually with new providers.  I myself would never take one at the 300+ rate, to me thats not worth the risk.

Now, taking the chance at 1/3 of the 300 rate gives you three sessions to chance vs. blowing it all at one time.  

If anything it increases your ods and you might even save some coin by hitting the right provider on session 1.
