This is not a negative on US TVs, but I had a question for the guys out there.

I wanted to know how many of you have been to Thailand or the Phillipines to see a ladyboy.

The reason I ask is that I was looking at a New York provider yesterday who wanted 1,500 for a night.

Right now you can get a flight to Bangkok from NYC for less than a grand. An average hotel is about $45 a night. This includes a full breakfast.

So for less than the cost of one night with a provider in NYC, you can fly to Thailand and stay in a hotel for two weeks.

Then the ladyboys are $45 to $85 for the night. Granted they aren't nearly as hung as the TV's here, but they are beautiful.

Just wanted to get others feedback.

Oh yeah if you like both, the girls are about the same amount of money for 4 hours or more.

Hell, I can barely make it to the borders of my state!  The donkeys get tired of pullin' the cart. :)

The drawback to flying to Thailand: Who has that kind of time?  From LAX, it's over 17 hours.  Then, there's jet lag.

And, where I'm from: we're still working on the steam engine LOL!  :)

As I said it is a 2 week vacation, not a weekend.

Thailand is an amazing country, add that to ladyboys for 50 a night, can't beat it.

The only jet lag I had was one night in Pattaya when I drank massive quantities and woke up at noon.

it is a vacation to an amazing country, on top of that you have amazingly hot ladyboys for almost nothing..

When you're right, you're right!  I missed that 2 week thang.  I must've been slobbering too much--those gals sure are cute as a button.

Is there much of a language barrier?

One day I'll crawl into a jet liner compartment and get there myself.

It depends if you stay in the foreigner(farang) area of bangkok(bkk) then most of the signs are in english and there are many english bars and restaurants. The dodgy thing is trying to find a taxi driver who speaks english and who doesn't think he is running in a F1 race.

Be adventurous. I guarantee that you will have an amazing time.

I hear its amazing and the fact that the flight is the most expensive part is the funny part.  Besides the red light area, I hear the beaches are beautiful and the people are friendly.  The price is right once ya get there, thats for sure.

1. the HIV infection rate is high among the commercial sex workers - both the ladyboys and the GGs. You need to play safe.

2. Besides HIV providers have other STDs. An English friend who spent two weeks in Thailand came back with two STDs (not HIV) from not consistently using condoms during a marathon 18 hour session with four providers. Fortunately everything was treatable.

3. Crime is low, but still you do not want to make yourself a target by getting totally intoxicated and waving around wads of cash.

thailand is a great place to go for ladyboys and ladies. the main cost is your airfare to get their, the rest of your trip is fairly inexpensive. and the providers rates are way cheaper than in the states. i try to go 3 to 4 times a year and stay 2-4 weeks each time. if you have a chance, i recomend that you go.

I haven't been to  the phillipines, but I have been told that it is almost as good as thailand.

Yeah there are so many things to do in thailand both during the day and at night. in bangkok the temples are amazing. the grand palace is not to be missed.

at night there are many clubs to go watch and to take home a ladyboy or a girl.

pattaya is like no other place. you go to walking street and it is sbout a mile of just clubs and restaurant. during the day there are miles and miles of beaches.

to get to pattaya is about $50 by cab or $5 by shared van. the trip takes about an hour and a half.

there are also great places on the other side, like cha am, hua hin, crabi and phuket. up north is the old capital of chain mai, in the mountains.

a couple of things. do your research about thailand, its people and their customs. they are a kind, but proud people, who expect their visitors not to insult them. treat your provider kindly, even if you are only paying them a fraction of what you would here. they are people, and the ladyboys will not hesitate to lay down a few beatings if you behave badly. also wear your selt belt when in a cab, they drive like nascar drivers.

Been to Thailand several times and had a blast. Beaches and diving are best in Phuket; they have a large ladyboy population there that is both pre-op and post-op; enjoyed them both!! You have to fly to Phuket, it is an hour flight on many Thai airlines, usually cheap fares available on the day of flight so no need to pre-book.

Pattaya has mostly pre-op LBs and not so nice beaches, but it is a beach town. About an hour and a half away from Bangkok by bus/taxi etc

Bangkok is a big dirty cosmopolitan city that has both pre-op and post-op LBs for your pleasure. I don't like Bangkok as much as there is not much else to do but monger, unless you enjoy temples.

For two weeks I would definitely go and sample; it will be the trip of a lifetime for you!!
