Thanks for the tip Tempted. Great way to increase mindshare. EOM
Today I get an email from EROS management stating, "Hello Jasmine, There was a portion of your text that was deemed against our publishing standards and had to be removed. The text starting your 3rd paragraph with "take me into your arms" has been deemed a little too suggestive." It seems I get a similar email every few months or whenever I change my ad text.
The previous censorship by eros the text, "I am versatile with a fully functional 7" cock," had been deemed a little too suggestive and removed from my ad. But come on EROS staff, really? I mean all you did by taking that text out of my ad was to put me at higher risk for LE problems by forcing potential clients to ask inappropriate questions.
As a loyal EROS customer, it's obviously a corporation run by a combination of hungry business executives and, lawyers. So I understand and appreciate the complexities of the relationship between the two opposing divisions/departments.
EROS executive management team works on a "performance based" compensation plan meaning, the more gross revenue they generate, the more personal compensation they earn. I have no problem with that. I mean, I am all for EROS management team looking for ways to maximize profits. I have no problem with paying for services such as secure and/or preferred placement ads, VIP ads, visiting ads blah blah blah.
I am all for making the site faster and easier for providers and potential "shoppers" to navigate. But to censor every ad of every provider based on the legal teams paranoia seems not only a bit excessive but also a waste of manpower and more importantly, counter productive to long term growth. I am not aware of too many organizations that grow successfully once they become too big for their own customer base or forget about the needs of their clients.
So how can you sustain a business model in the adult industry when your legal team is clueless to the needs of providers in general? To be successful doesn't an organization need to least have a general Idea of who it's customers are? Perhaps a simple understanding of the needs of it's customer base? I doubt many of EROS employees, especially its management team has ever done any sex work.
Hey EROS, hire a fucking whore for xxx sake and get a clue. Perhaps at the same time you can hire a management team with a full spine in order to earn a better understanding of your customers needs.
Perhaps its time for someone to design a peer managed (managed by porn stars/providers), high end escort site as a better alternative to something like say, EROS? Perhaps I should just say fuck it, purchase an escort site and build a site that caters to upscale, classy, honest, hard working porn stars and/or providers and, their potential lovers and clients... FU Eros!

I'm all in support of building a new site better than eros that does focus on their clientele needs they have so many fake advertisers thats its going out of style.
Seem to remember the suggestion of an alternative site that was provider/sexworker based.....Hmmmmmm
but Eros has the upper hand for now as there is other advertising channel that has the reach of Eros.
True there is RS2K, where Rachel advertises, but that site is visited by hobbyists looking for GG providers. So I am not sure how well TS providers will do on RS2K.
But Eros is only setting itself up for failure with its policies and building a client base primed to flee. Time will tell.
It could be the Legal team is not as clueless as you think. They build up a file to show the DA's and AG's when they come knocking on the door. They have to show they are making an effort to be responsible and clean to keep the legal system off their back's. By the way, I always liked your Ad's, you look great!!!
Craigslist is now so bad that I don’t even bother looking at it anymore. Backpage has gotten to where 50%+ of the ads are unverifiable. Plenty of good ladies still advertise on Backpage so it is still worth checking out even though it is a pain in the ass. Eros used to be less than 20% bullshit but is now approaching Backpage as far as it level of unreliability. Why? I guess because as clients we rely to some extent on the idea that only serious providers will advertise on Eros because it is more expensive than most other advertising venues. Unfortunately the scammers have figured this out too so my guess is that they have done the math and realized that the extra money for Eros is worth it to entrap additional high-value clients. This won’t last – the clients will wise up and are already doing so. The more that Eros allows scammers to advertise the less value the ads will have to everyone but particularly to us as clients. Unfortunately all of us get poor service in the process, you guys as advertisers and us as consumers of the advertising.
A proposal. I have been a member of p411 for some time now and think this is a really great referral service. It is not a review board so can be mentioned here. Lots of ladies link to their revues here in their profiles. You know me – I have been an advocate of TS adopting a referral protocol like the GG side for many years now. If you do a search on p411 there are actually two TS providers as members and about a dozen ladies that advertise that they will see TS/TG or double with a TS/TG. Not much admittedly but a start. How many TS hobbyists got their start on the GG side? How many still explore both worlds? Jasmine, why shouldn’t you Rachel, Sofia, Melissa, etc,. all make application to p411 for a provider membership and start advertising that you take p411 referrals (“basic +2” is most ladies requirement). I find that it is the best place to find reliable providers – I can’t remember the last time I saw someone that was not on p411 (other than TS regrettably). The profiles are informative and attractive. It has a good search function, a discreet and confidential email/booking function and will soon have a PM function as well. Check it out. Why the hell not?
Take care,
TS Tempted
