.. I just read on Bob's Tgirl forum that Sylvia is in jail awaiting trial next week, Jun. 11th.  Now he didn't give any details as to why she was in jail and why she's not out on bail, so it sounds serious.  Since an arrest is a matter of public record, there is really no reason to keep the details confidential, except to prevent embarrassment to the arrestee.  

Can anyone provide more details to this story?

Poor Sylvia is in jail with guys and is not likely to see the light of day again.

She's a provider.  She allegedly killed another.  

To make it more interesting, she's a transexual hooker who killed another after arguing about who was "hotter."  

I don't feel sorry for her, if she did it.  Nor do i feel any need to "help."  I'm just fascinated by the drama of the event. It's better, in some respects, than the OJ trial.

If anyone knows the trial date and location, I'd appreciate if you could pass it on.

Right on. Hard to feel "sorry" for her when she's the one who's alive. While some contributors to this board may have had their dicks in her ass (or vice versa), that doesn't automatically make her a "special" person. Come on guys, she was a hooker who offed a competitor during a jealous rage / argument.

thanks to Bob of Bob's Tgirl web site he's posted a lot of info on Sylvia's and poor Laura's (the victim) bio pages.. apparently Laura was an innocent bystander in all this, sounds like she may have tried to intervene in this argument but got shot by mistake, so she wasn't the intended target; isn't that the way it usually happens!?

Anyway, for those who do want to do something for Sylvia here's the info you need to get it to her and keep track of where she is in jail (it's also good if there's anyone else you may want to know the where-abouts of in the L.A. jail system!)

If you've been following the news, on my main page or in the forum, you will have heard about the tragedy in which Laura was killed by gunshot wounds and Sylvia has been charged with the crime. However the case is not as simple as that. The actual quarrel was not with Laura, but unfortunately she was in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I don't know what was going through Sylvia's mind that night, or what her motives were, but I'm sure that shooting Laura was not in her plans. The way I see it is that all involved got into a situation that simply escalated out of control.

With that being said, there are those of you out there who care about Sylvia and will want to write to her and/or send her money. The donations go into her account at the jail. I found out that visiting her is next to impossible. Due to her situation, she can only have 1 visit per day. And I heard that may even be one per week. I went to the jail on Saturday, but didn't get to see her for that reason. However I'm sure some mail will help her feel better.

I wish Sylvia the best of luck with her situation and will be following it.

I know, that wasn't very funny..  Looks like a case only Johnny Cochran could win, but he won't take it because there's no publicity in it for him..  The future looks pretty bleak for Amara, aka Sylvia, especially if she gets a public defender..

I appreciate the info. I tried to find out more right after the news broke and I got questioned by the detective about my concern and if I had any information about the crime. Needless to say I made no further inquiries.
Although I was probably only a trick to Sylvia I had many a good times. Although I never paid top dollar Sylvia made me feel special and we developed a friendship.
I don't know what the situation was and I don't believe that anger or violence solves anything. I do realize that there is a rage inside all of us that we should never let show. We all have buttons, when pushed, have caused us to behave in unexplicable ways. There have been times I got myself involved with stupid situations on the freeway that could have gone bad and landed someone in jail. I do not excuse the behavior but I do realize that I have to be on quard. I do not excuse Sylvia's behavior or look for rationalizations or excuses. We must all be accountable for our behaviors. I do not make judgement on the situation just as I would hope that if I were arrested practicing my hobby that I would not be judged.
I am just sadden by the incident for all parties involved.
