It really depends on the provider (check ads carefully, some state condition of phone calls).  It also depends on how you asked.

Remember, they are pariod about LE, so you need to ask in a way that would not cause a problem, maybe like during the concersation, you might say, that you have a preference for someone who is cut (what you wish), does this fit the bill.

And remember, you can go and see her, but during the intro and be things are exchanged, show her that you are not LE and ask.  If it is not what you want you can leave.

I think she was wrong.  For starters, unless you had been talking about money or something it shouldn't matter.

And I think it's just plain rude to hang up on someone unless they are stalker or phone sex sort.  Even then I say "goodbye sweetie," then block their number...

However you might rephrase the question in the future as someone else suggested, or just "hypothetically speaking"  

This is a reason to date girls who have web sites and photo galleries in addition to reviews.
