Being Thankful...
Hello all,
As i've had a rather crazy holiday schedule these last few days, forgive the lateness of this post. I usually post holiday messages, and when the days & travels get so stretched out as it's hard to even find the time for email or much less postings, well.... I know I cant be the only one at this time of year being crunched on time.... so..... ; - )Being thankful. In direct context of erotic companionship, and my special friends, both old and new that have been a part of my life and my travels this year (and some for many years now), I am *forever* thankful. That's not just the words. It really means something to me and it always has. But, in moments of extreme stress, sometimes it's easier to be lazy, or emotional, or think in critical terms, yet without keeping the whole picture in mind.... a longer view, as it were... ; )
Sometimes it's easier to feel jaded after someone is rude, or does not extend proper etiquette to us, or after screening out a host of sketchy, rude, or questionable inquiries, or improper cancellations, or not being noticed as much as one might like, when you know you have done everything in your body, mind, heart, and spirit to give to your arts fearlessly and flawlessly as possible, and with those that you do genuinely connect with.
...But, all of that being said, there will always be more to be thankful for than not. The air I can still breathe, and the eyes to see the sky, and the senses to feel the warmth of the sun, and the rain, or snowflakes on my skin... To know a perfect lover's embrace in warmth and mutual excitement, to share a perfect kiss, and know gentle hands caressing my body in wanton passion and complete abandonment. To even be open to that, and be lucky enough to know what that feels like, into every corner of my senses and sensuality as a woman, I am most thankful.
To know a friend. To have friends. To have the extreme blessing of any family that loves and cares, this is most thankfulness-inducing. To have a place to lay my head, to be able to help someone else to find the same thing. To awaken and have the opportunity of a new day to change things, to grow, to LIVE, to love, to see & feel and hear and know and move - to have all of this, I can only be thankful, to the highest extent.
To know what it is to be a very special kind of woman, still deeply in love with what are certainly the most controversial of arts in eroticism and companionship, yet utterly *not* to be at odds with that unique journey and myself as a companion, in most ways.... I am thankful. To be thankful I have not just one gender perspective to share, but all of them at once.
As a TS woman that knew myself to be a girl with searing clarity of awareness at age 4, and then - to have been given and taken the chance to go back to 4 or 5 years old, and re-start as whole, new, fresh, and completely fearless in this world, no matter the consequence or controversy that most cultures still feel for women like us - is worth all the cost times a hundredfold. How can I complain with that kind of a blessing. I must remember this always, and simply remain thankful, and pass the joy of that blessing along to as many others in this life as I can be allowed to and choose to do so.
Lastly, for the gentlemen, other ladies, couples, and friends, that sincerely seek the special company (and intimacy, including naughtiness for sure
of special women like myself in this world - and then mutually share what can often be amazing personal, erotic, and deeply intimate experiences together, and then continually reward me for being that special kind of woman - You are a gift in my life and my world. One that I have always been thankful for, must respect, and will always be thankful for, and in more ways than I can even begin to describe in short terms, here. For all of those that stand, every moment of every day, to defend and protect all of us, and especially for those that cannot ever again be at the many tables set last week, the families that will never see them again at that table, and for those that right now, this moment, are still there on that wall, or deck, or desert, or swamp, or worse - I must be thankful to you, with all of my life.
For the amazing insights, and the countless rewards that a life of companionship has shown me, taught me, and continues to teach me, every day I also grow as a woman and a person, I. will. and must. be. forever thankful.
