OK, so I have posted 60+ reviews on TER, some unapproved, but 50+ approved over the years. One would assume 50, or so, solid reviews over a 7-8 year span would put you in the 'reviewer in good standing' category.
Yet, the TER Review Staff continues to make a mockery of the review process. TER's own rules, listed here on this site, state they can give a 15-day VIP status for submitting reviews. Makes sense, this is a review board, reviews are essentially how they make money, so they encourage legit reviews and can give a 15-day freebie.
I posted 2 reviews in December, received only the 15-days, not 30 as expected. OK, I'm not here strictly for the freebies. Yet, they would not approve one of those reviews for unspecified reasons, until I fought for an explanation and re-submitted the review. Hassle! And only 15 days of VIP status.
Now in Feb, I submit a review that is unapproved. I had to inquire again as to why, and I received the most excruciating picayune bullshit regarding minutiae and detail of the wording - some words used or omitted and possible implcations that could potentially be inferred as a result. WTF!
Let's remember, this is a review board, reviews are essentially how they make money, so they are supposed to encourage legitimate reviews not make this a painful process and ultimately a farse.
The most recent explanations for not approving the review were: "Your review was denied for discussing bareback full-service. TER does not post reviews that discuss bareback full-service." - The problem here is I did NOT discuss anything bareback. I mentioned the condom when being bottom, but didn't specify how long or when a condom was applied. We switched, on for intercourse and off for bbbj. Isn't that usually understood? Also "Your review doesn't mention the use of a condom during intercourse. Also you cannot refer to a TS provider as having a clit." - But I DID mention using a condom during intercourse. As for the word clit, many tgirls have told me they think of their penis as a big clit, and I think it is appropriate jargon for a review.
Why such bullshit? Anybody else getting run through the wringer for no reason by TER? I don't want to post anymore reviews on TER.
Every review I ever posted as a non-paying subscriber was denied. In contrast every review I have submitted as a paying member was accepted. You decide...it didn't take me too long to figure out.
gotta laugh--player that is the most honest answer I have seen to date....LOL.
I don't bother to try and post reviews any longer. Not willing to put effort into a review & then have it rejected for bullshit reasons. If someone asks about someone I have seen, I make essentially the same comments one would find in a review.
I am a hobbiest of some long standing, but almost exclusively with GG's. I am a paid VIP member. I have submitted about 30 reviews, all were accepted.
Recently I saw a couple of t-girls, and submitted a review of each. But I did so under a new screen name (non-VIP), because I didn't want to turn GG's away from seeing me, because I had seen and reviewed ts's. And I couldn't figure how to review under a second screename from my VIP membership.
Both reviews were rejected on really spurious grounds. I couldn't work out why, as they were of similar style and detail as my usual reviews. But I guess its because they came from a free member....
Well, looks like the verdict is in and very clear.
Reviews posted as a non-paying subscriber get denied and in contrast reviews submitted as a paying member are accepted by TER.
That is crap. First, TER's policy is that reviewers in good standing can submit reviews and receive temporary VIP status. But secondly, one would think they need legitimate reviews as they are a review board - their whole reason for existence. To deny a non-paying subscriber undermines that business model and defies their own policy.
And what do they ultimately get, an angered and frustrated customer base.
Archaic thinking, transaction-based approach instead of long-term, profitable relationship building, which is far more profitable in the long run. Marketing 101.
I too got a review unapproved. Reason: the name on the review does not match the provider's website.
Provider's change names and thus i used the old name where the provider already had reviews. Now forced to change the name and thus it would possibly considered a new provider leaving out the old reviews for her!!
Another review not approved sometime ago because not enough explicit details were given. I left the providers place within 10 minutes because she was a rip-off. I explained as much as possible, but they need more details. Am i supposed to make up a story or tell what happened!!!
Its bullshit!! I dont expect this when you are paying for it!! TER seems to have lost its identity to be used as a reliable reference point for everyone.
