New here and am curious about the scene.  
I've tried search to answer my question about LE potential stings.

I am looking at a couple of providers who have listings and reviews on this site.  Both of them have their own website and I found both of them on eros.com.  On top of that, they are both TS providers.  I have called both for general questions but nothing about donations or anything like that.  One was just a location question.  She wasn't going to be in the town she is based out of but she was going to be in a town I am thinking about going to for vacation.  The second one was actually kind of funny.  I kind of fumbled in the beginning talking to her and she playfully jumped on my case saying something along the lines of oh shut up already, you know I'm going to rape you!  I laughed it off and we bantered back and forth and her main point was basically 'well what do you want? I can do most anything.'  It was obvious I wasn't being assertive in my call but I just basically wanted to know how this whole thing worked.  We ended talking basically with her saying 'well when you're ready give me a call.'  The first has two reviews the other has about 10.  

With these stipulations in mind, what are the chances of a sting?  I can be a bit paranoid about a lot of things in my life but I'm assuming chances of LE being pretty low but was just wondering what you all thought?

Explore the boards for a while, read some reviews. Don't rush.

Yeah, I've definitely read all the reviews on the ones that I was thinking about.  Did some searches on LE and what not.  I honestly think this thread should probably go into the TS boards now ha.  I do need to learn the etiquette better though.  I know not to ask about donations but then I feel if they ask what I'd like to do I feel that could be bad if I mention that as well?  I'm definitely a top when it comes to that lingo.  I think both of the providers are legit partly because of the multiple reviews(the other one had seven not two) and the fact that they both have somewhat professional websites of their own.

Check the reviewers, if they have multiple reviews and the providers they reviewed are reviewed multiple times, then is is a pretty good bet not a sting.

The reviews are critical in getting an idea of what the provider you are interested does. As a top you obviously don't want a top only provider...I know that's kind of a duh comment but you'd be surprised how many guys take a session with the "wrong" girl...will only end in disappointment. The VIP is worth it...will save you time and $. I've only seen well reviewed ladies and never felt at risk. On phone I've never talked donation but have said I'll be commensurate with what I've seen in reviews if they don't provide rate in ad. I've never had a squabble about donation and I've rarely discussed what I want to do because I'm pretty vanilla but I wouldn't be too worried talking to a well reviewed provider about details if she asked. But as always use your gut instinct on scene, if it don't feel right walk away.

Most stings from my experience are primarily targeted at eliminating the problem in their area and target the provider.  On the rare exception it is the client.   Regardless, if I do not know them, I rarely answer the question of "what do you like to do" over the phone until I meet them.   You are taking a big chance to expose yourself to LE if you pick one up on the street, see someone with no reviews, or think with the little head and take one for the team without doing all your homework.  I myself would never visit a traveling TS provider if I lived in some conservative middle of the country smaller town only because the donut shops are not 24/7, the "pow-lice" get bored and that is when an LE st-ang might be targeted at you.  For example, go to youtube and search on JohnTV.  Being from Los Angeles, I can tell you that the cops have a lot more on their plate fighting crime vs. chasing horny married men around motel rooms trying to entrap them into a sting.

That's why you need to inquire here if there is any doubt and read reviews.

Dog you are 100% spot on about the middle of the country Boss Hoog/Enos LE with nothing better to do.
Hopefully curious you are near a major city that they have more important things to worry about than something they can never really stop!

Not only would it be my first time with a service like this it would be my first time with a TS as well. Im really into women but as many guys I have my online porn stash.  The whole TS thing just makes me crazy sometimes on some of the videos because its ridiculous how hot some of them look.  I don't want to get fucked thats for sure.  It's just not my thing, I like to be the one doing the fucking and being the dominant one.  I just kind of see the ones online, and imagine about it too, but I just kind of see them as women that I can 'see' are aroused lol.  I don't think id be afraid with touching all the body parts but as far as me being on the bottom, nah.  

The one i had the extended phone call was kind of aggressive on the phone but its funny because her ad states shes a bottom.  However, most of the reviews Ive seen are from guys who get fucked by her and I'm assuming thats because they're open to that.  I'm assuming also she gets alot of guys who are submissive.  As in my OP, I really fumbled in my opening talking to her because after asking if it was her and telling her i saw the ad I just kind of blanked about what I wanted to say or do.  I guess I just figured shed be able to tell it was my first time but after my intro I started fumbling and she jumped on my case right away with 'oh stop with your drama, you know I'm going to rape you!' It was so over the top I just laughed.  I mean does LE talk like that over the phone? haha.  

Anyways, I was thinking if I did call her back I would basically state my case.  First time, with a TS also, and would see if I could just come in talk and see what shes like because I'm not sure if id actually want to be with one for real.  Ha  I know it sounds kind of plain but she did post in her ad that honesty is very appreciated.  I'd compensate her for her time that wouldn't be an issue.  I guess I won't know until I ask.

I think my gut is all in knots just because I'm already a paranoid guy sometimes.  Both of the ones I'm looking at are well reviewed and pretty decently rated and the several of the reviewers have tons of other reviews.

I can relate to your situation because im very similar to you. Slightly paranoid, especially with LE. In the beginning I was extremely paranoid and didnt know what approach to take concerning phone etiquette. But like the boys above said just do the research and probably going with a provider with multiple reviews is the way to go. Well at least for your 1st experience. I probably wouldn't see the one with 2 reviews solely because it still could be a ymmv situation. Good luck with which ever you choose, there will be nerves but just go with the flow!
