If you want an “A” in this class, then you need to successfully answer this question.confused_smile

It is slightly different from the old reliable, “Why does a provider refuse to answer her email?” question. Okay, here it is: “Why does a provider include an email address in her ad, but then specifically state “Do not email” ??

Well...with the powah of the internet and its magic potions, tinctures and cure-alls the more information they provide the more ways you can verify ie facebook, myspace, bgclive, and le twittah. The non traditional way.

like any business...you are only as successful as your business plan, your commitment to your business, and to your possible clientele base...one thing I've sadly noticed...MOST providers care less about the future, they are only existing in the here & now(notice I did not use the word "living")...with such desperation, they will never be successful...because they don't look at the big picture(successful exit plan/retirement)...so they slack when it comes to giving 100% to presentation, communication, and delivery of services promised...but just like the fools that fall for the Nigerian Prince Scams, there are hobbying fools that don't use common sense and keep these shysters in business...if she seems TGTBT or seems risky or dumb as a box of rocks or contradicts her terms(like email lady mentioned above) move on to a more realistic and reliable choice...there is a reason why we were created with our brains in our heads and not between our legs...dfk, Rachel

I agree 100% with Rachel...
Personally, I prefer to have some type of "communication" with a provider before we meet.  That takes some prior planning on my part to ensure that I give them plenty of time to respond to my e-mail.   In most cases this has resulted in an enjoyable time when we do meet.  But just don't over saturate them with e-mails.  I know this happens a lot of times and then the hobbiest will flake out on them.
