This may be a bit much but I guess this is the purpose of the board, to share our thoughts.
There is the occasional post about std's and hiv/aids, but I feel as if most people are not that concerned with safety. There are many people on this board that have been with many girls and my generation (I am 22 years old) has had safety pounded in their heads growing up and no matter how safe you are I believe something is sure to happen. This is true for all escorts, I only post this here because transsexuals are what excite me. In the beginning I had a brief identity  issue about wanting to suck on a tranny, but I am over that though still concerned with the fact that visiting an escort can be harmful to ones health.
I guess its no different than meeting someone at a bar and taking them home, but this is an escort where she may see a minimum of 2 people a day which means 700 people a year and who knows how long shes been doing this.
I don't mean to single out any girl but ts Vo is my favorite girl. I have the urge to drop down on my knees and swallow every last drop, but am torn by the fact that a few moments of bliss can lead to whichever disease- though many of you out there I am sure do this.
There was this promiscuous girl back at college who'd earned herself the nickname 'cum dumpster' (horrible i know) That image though stays with me and resonates when I picture an escort bending over and guys visiting her one after the other to unload.
I dont mean any offense to the girls who escort or the guys who see them, I am definitely not trying to convince anyone to stop seeing them, I seriously envy guys for having been with some of the most beautiful girls that I can only jerk off to in front of the computer, though I ask again isn't anyones scared?. I dont know if I am asking for you to give me the courage to have intercourse with a girl or to make me understand if I am mistaken and if condoms all around will just solve my concern.
Anyone feeling me on this???

Your Princess Vo is a whore.  She's company for hire.  How do you know if anyone is safe?  I'm not scared.  Fear is for people who think about consequences.

ha she very well may be. However this isnt sky diving, it doesnt make you any tougher to not pay attention to the consequences.
Aight condoms all around then.

i absolutely agree with shemview, I'm afraid too. Protection is a must.
it would be a cool thing if we could pressure them to provide test results.
Does anyone know how high the infection rate is among ts?

OK, here's the scoop on std testing.

I went last night to get my hiv/std test - which was NEGATIVE and a clean bill of health, if anyone is interested.

Not that it wouldn't be - I try to be responsible and practice safe sex, not by choice, but by necessity, for the protection of myself and my partners.

The clinic I've been going to recently has "changed their policy" and will now no longer provide documentation of testing.  Apparently sex workers use the documentation to prove their status (you think?) the health care system in San Diego figures that by denying  paperwork they will stop prostitution.

So now I have to go waste another 2 hours and lose more blood someplace else to get current documentation.

The health care system makes it a pain in the ass for sex workers - especially ts's to get tested regularly.  Most clinics send the tests out and make you come back a week later for results.  That's why I was going to the clinic I went to, with a lab onsite.  Many clinics do not want to provide tests for common std's unless one is showing symptoms.

It is TOTAL BULLSHIT and designed to keep sex workers down.

To be a responsible provider and get tested once a month you have to go to different clinics, which often change their hours and proceedures.  You have to feed them bs and you end up with no continuity of care.

So is it any wonder a lot of girls don't bother?  Then you add in the mental issues facing many sex workers, depression, suicide, etc. Some just don't give a f**k what happens to them and if they don't care about themselves - they sure don't care about you.

However to reduce your fears, the infection rate for TS's from my limited information - not counting street girls/druggies is very low, roughly the same as regular girls.

The latest figures I read was majority of hiv/std infections appear to be in the gay bath house, drug and ethnic communities.  And interesting enough in the schools.

So if you play with a responsible, professional provider your risk factor should be quite low.  If you are a bottom and fooling around with un protected low lifes...well, it's your life honey.

These are just more reasons prostitution should be legal and services provided to legal sex workers as part of a licensing process.

And "boozie," if you want the girls to provide documentation - it's up to you guys to help us get the health care system to accept and test us without all the drama.

But who's gonna listen to a whore.

Have fun, play safe,
TS Jamie

"it would be a cool thing if we could pressure them to provide test results."

Show up with your clean bill of health in hand first and set the precedent.  How does a provider know your ass isn't a disease infested, pozed up cum dumpster?

Well I have nothing against that, but I don't have sex with 700 complete strangers a year.
All I said is that it would be good if this was general practice and part of the whole thing.
This includes me of course.
However I wasn't aware of the fact that it is so complicated to get these reports - this really is complete bs and doesn't make any sense at all.

My experience has been that there are numerous clinics that will do this testing anonymously and as often as you would like – a full STD screen costs something like $100 and takes 2-3 days.  I guess it depends on state regulation and local market practice as to availability in your area.  Jamie – thanks for being responsible and your conscientiousness - keep looking for a better clinic!

The real trick is to be sure that the test results you are reviewing are actually those of the person you are seeing.  Since the testing may have been done using an alias how are you to really know?

This is why a good reputation and earning trust is very important on both sides of the equation – do your homework!  HOF’s suggestion is excellent.  It has been proposed before but there is a ‘whitelist’ feature here on TER that could be useful in establishing hobbyists’ reputations as well if we could only get the ladies to use it.

Take care,

TS Tempted

A clinic/lab NOT providing written test results not only sounds stupid, but illegal.  It shouldn't matter why the patient wants to be tested.  Then again, no one said life was fair.

Don't know if this is taboo here, but maybe if folks who know could recommend reasonable priced clinic/lab for testing it would encourage more people to go & help keep/drive the price down.

Unfortunatelly, a 'clean bill of health' is obsolete after the next provider/client/other interaction.  Probably much less than a week for a provider.  And this ignores the 'incubation' period for diseases.

There should be a mail-order lab where you can still be anonymous by sending in your 'sample', cash/paypal/etc and look up results on web via unique code sent in with sample.
