I agree that generalizations are unfair.  There clearly are many US-based escorts who are nice, polite and honest.  At the same time, there are alot of brasilian girls who don't live client to client like you describe.  In fact, with their higher acceptance in society there (vs. here), I find more tgirls in Brasil who actually hold down other jobs in addition to escorting.

You are correct in identifying economics as the big issue, but its not currency - its opportunity.  In Brasil, opportunities are few, so many girls who otherwise might have a decent job are forced to escort to get by.  And, because there are so many escorts, prices seem to stay low.

To me, though, the biggest difference in the escort experience there is TIME.  I'm a relatively nice guy (tranquilo as they say) and, with rare exception, every girl I see there will spend hours upon hours "off the clock" with me - whether it be going out clubbing, eating, or just hanging around.  This rarely happens in the US.

I used to think this was just a supply and demand thing - why would a girl leave me if her option is just to hang around in her place, alone.  But, on my last trip, girls had their phones ringing off the hook when with me and neglected them.  I also often suspect I'm the golden goose but girls who know I'm not some easy mark gringo seem to be MORE likely to spend more time with me.  Which only leaves me to think they're actually enjoying themselves - or, really see this as a long term opportunity.
