Awesome post, Kylie.  I had a sneaky feeling it had something to do with that, but hearing it from you really confirms that.  You put it into words very well.

Great post, Kylie.  Your point about "high mileage=high risk" is true for providers and clients.  

There are some other complicating factors...

1) While I generally find TG providers to be even more health conscious than the GG providers, there are some significant exceptions.  I've also met many tgirls that are very conscious of their health but are willing to engage in behavior that is risky to me.  For example, in my experience, the vast majority of tgirls will insist on condoms when giving head but are far more liberal when receiving.  More signficantly, while I've almost never met a tgirl who would swallow, I've met many girls that are willing to come in my mouth (personally, I'd never do it, but its offered alot).

2) This is exacerbated when you consider that there are more things that TGs can do with men to put men at risk than GGs can do.  Specifically, TGs can do a few high risk things that GG's can't: penetrate anally, ejaculate directly in mouth. So, unsafe activities by TG's if probably more troublesome than unsafe activities by GGs.  

I don't want to even start thinking about how this applies to post ops, although instinct tells me its not applicable at all.

Re:TS/GG conflict?

I posted a request for a recommendation on the LA board and several people responded and then one responded that I had seen many TS providers and shouldn't everybody think twice before giving me a recommendation on their favorite provider.  I thought that was rather short-sided but I figured I wasn't going to change anyone's mind so I didn't respond after that.  I now post with an alias in the other boards.

I agree it is about safety whether GG or TS. While TER is an awesome resource, the best in my opinion, I'd still venture to guess that a small percentage of hobbyists even use TER or other boards and fly under the radar anyhow. I use to, but no longer hide and it is what it is. If someone doesnt want to see me based on who Ive seen thats their choice. Im not going to lose sleep. Ive only been with one TS and it was perhaps the best encounter I've had with anyone (TS RUBY) Safety was used throughout. Im thinking as I write this that GG hobbyists who will see providers who only BBBJ and hobbyists who perform DATY do not have much validity to their complaints anyhow. Even with protection there is inherent risks, however, without protection??? you figure it out. Have fun and play safe.
