On the female side, there's seems to be shortage of high quality hispanics. On the she-male side, they seem to dominate.
I don't think your question is ignorant. There have been many theories about this posted on this board - I don't know if any of them are correct or not. I will agree with you though - it does seem like there is an abundance of Hispanic TS providers. I don't know if that correlates to "normal" society or not (i.e., is there a disproportionately high amount of TS's in the non provider world). I would be interested to know though.
previous discussions have mentioned the cultural aspect and the lack of acceptance of the gay lifestyle in the hispanic community. This leaves few choices but to transform themselves into women. Called the "machasmo factor". Other theories are based on purely random genetic factors. Choise your poison.
My personal experience has shown me that caucasian women have a lower rate of sexual disfunctionality--probably about 40%, whereas latinas probably have a sexual disfunctionality rate of about 60%--this is not scientific--just a guess. Since guys, because they have dicks, rarely have sexual disfunctionality, perhaps Latin America is more accepting of transsexuals as a means of filling the void because they have dicks also. The bad thing is that this does not happen if many of them take hormones.
It could be many reasons
1.the easy acces to hormones
2.a way to be macho in the opposite way
3.some of us support our families
I strongly believe that the lack of education
opportunities is the mayor reason, in latinamerica 80% of the population is poor and can not afford to go to any university and the government doesnt help at all.....

i`m sure we all have something to worry about
and my particular brand of suffering is not needed here.

Au contraire! I, and I would guess many others, would be interested in hearing your story. I have been endlessly fascinated by the many personal histories I've had the good fortune to hear from my transgendered friends. Every story shared increases the understanding among us. Your history and suffering is valuable and can be a source of illumination. I don't know you but I know this; you are a person who has walked a unique and difficult path. Your life is valuable and worthwhile.

Economically, many of the hispanic providers come from very economically depressed areas, and I have always guessed that many South American providers are "encouraged" into the profession at very early ages simply as a means of survival or as a way to provide some income for their families. Taken in early, fed, groomed, trained to be sexual servants.... those who show more aptitude (develop physically attractive features and accept the attitude that the transition is a good thing) are invested in even more with hormones, implants, shots, surgeries, etc. The drugs and medical procedures are more readily available than in the US (and cheaper)... so, one gets into the trade early, and the more adaptable are given more treatment and training and put to work. Genetically, many latins are smaller boned, smaller framed than caucasians, with finer features (as are many asians) which allow them to make the changes more easily. I think it is more of a way out of poverty, poverty to a degree that those in our country can't begin to fathom, than a personal or psychological desire... My Brazilian TS friend told me that the Brazilian government provides sex change surgeries in a socialized medical program as many Euro nations provide flu shots. I think that most caucasian TS situations are actual decisions made by the person, and probably later in life... we have more choices.

So seriously, just who are these people that pick out the girls at an early age, encourages them, invests in them, pay for their proceedures, give them mental tests to see if they would take to it, feed, groom and train into sexual slaves, etc...? The families? If they had that much money to begin with, they wouldn't need to do that. The government? Going around the country picking out children to become shemale sex slaves? A few shemale porn directors?? I don't really see that happening.
I am sure that not all hispanic TS providers become TS exactly that way, but I also don't believe that so many of them that really don't have money, education or opportunity are able to acquire the $$ required for the hormones and surgeries.... Who owns these huge ranches and resorts that we see as locales for so many of the films coming from South America?

Seems to me as I recall you posted a Review on her from when she visited D.C. that reflected her Services that she Provided for you... Can you say FALSE ADVERTISING and SUB-STANDARD Service from a Provider who Advertises herself to be MORE than what she Actually is? I mean how can the amount of purses one buys be more important than the client who incidentally PROVIDES the $$$ to buy the purses Actually be? Alas thru the grapevine i've also heard that her Providing in L.A. tends to be Sub-standard also making her clients recieve her Sexual Favors on her couch in the Living room then sending them out the door (in a Hurry) while her Noisy Dog runs around the house... I don't know who "highendts" is because She won't tell me, although if she did and asked me to keep her identity to myself, I absolutely would! What I can say is that I had a great time with the BEAUTIFUL Angelica (see review) and I absolutely adore Joanna Jett -- though I'm not sure if highendts put that link there to i.d. herself or higherendts.

As one who has seen Angelica I disagree with the earlier post. I found her to be an excellent attentive provider. The dog was in a cage and we were on the floor and couch. I would not expect her to share her bed with a stranger on the first date. I am no Ton Cruise but maybe she just liked me. I had a life changing experience! I will see her again if she returns my email.
