Boots, aka Amara Vadillo, is  on a no bail hold at the mens central jail awaiting disposition on a charge of 187(a)pc, murder first degree.  USIM has placed Boots on no a bail hold   so you won't be seeing her anytime soon.  This is as of today

As far as the escort permit, I am not sure about the details.  I beleive Kylie from San Diego posted some info about it a while back. All I know is that Kim Devine got busted for not having one.........any info on that would help us bot.  Thanks for the Boots update.....

I am thinking it is like a vendor permit. Escorting is a legitimate service. We hobbyist use it as slang but it would be like getting a massage permit without the certification. They want to keep track of escorts and want to get revenue from the permits and the paperwork keeps the bureaucrats busy. Wantatsfivefive over and out.

I would think that she is in protective custody and her meals etc., are brought to her.  The Sheriff's Dept. seems to be doing a poor job lately though.

They have a separate cell block for transsexuals.  

As stated below, she was found guilty of Second Degree Murder.  I was in the courtroom when the verdict was read.

Its my understanding that Sylvia Boots was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison.  There is a petition circling to request that her sentence be reduced.  They were soliciting signatures at Peanuts recently. Ask around at the club if you want to add your name.  not your sobriquet :)

according to the LASD, shes now being fked with by US Immigration and still at the mens central jail pending transfer to an un-named state prison

From what I've read in the paper about other cases from time to time, if she doesn't have legal resident status, they will deport her as soon as her sentence is served.

She had a court date on 7/27.  So she may have plead guilty to a reduced charge (voluntary manslaughter, just a guess from a non-lawyer) and received the 15 years.  She'll be out in less and then deported if she's in the country illegally.

And BTW, there's no such thing as an "escort permit."
