Do not go to boys town in Nuevo Laredo, or any other boys town for that matter. There are goons in police uniform waiting at the entrance to get an entrance fee (extortion) and they will find some excuse to threaten to put you in jail, then they get their money. They got $70 in cash and I incorrectly signed $170 in travelers checks as a bribe to not go to jail for having a pocket knife--legal in the US. If it had not been a pocket knife, I am sure there would have been some other trumped up charge. Do not go to Mexico at all--for any reason.
