Genetically, they are male.  But they usually take hormones and often get implants.  Smooth skin and feminine bearing are often the result.  Except for one aspect, they are very hard to tell from a woman.

Me, I love women.  I love femininity.    But then, I'm a top, not a bottom (I give, dont receive).  I could never get it up for a guy.  The thought of a hairy back grosses me out.

Other guys are different but I think guys that see TGirls are mostly hetero.

a transsexual is a person who was born with the genitalia of one sex but lives as the other. so we have female-to-male transsexuals, and male-to-female transsexuals (MTF are who you see working as escorts for the most part) some take hormone therapy, some have breast implants and other silicone-type enhancements, and others undergo surgical procedures to create a vagina (post-op transsexuals). most of the TS providers seem to be pre-op and bill themselves as "a girl with an extra surprise" or something like that.

there are as many reasons for a man to visit a transsexual provider as there are for him to visit a genetic girl. maybe he wants to try something he perceives as different, exotic, or "dangerous". maybe he wants to try a cock - or maybe he's tried it and likes it - but is NOT attracted to masculinity... he still wants a feminine, soft person attached to the cock. maybe he likes greek a lot, and with a TS provider, greek is pretty much a standard, top or bottom, while with genetic girls it's either not available or $100 extra maybe he wants to be a 'bottom' but once again wants a feminine partner. maybe he IS gay. and maybe we are just too eager to label people; i know the world tells us that we have to CHOOSE and be pigeonholed... but isn't the world pretty much full of shit?

by the way, i have seen a couple of TS providers myself as well as several genetic female providers. TS maya india of los angeles is one of the nicest and most feminine people i know. we have kept in touch via e-mail and i honestly think we might become real friends if she wasn't 3000 miles away i also met mila of SF, and she is one of the most beautiful and exotic looking women, genetic or trans, that i have ever met. by the same token, if i continue with this hobby, i will probably stick with genetic female providers for the most part as that is my preference.

Ok so the definitions for trannies is pretty much covered , now for my perspective.Am I gay?
