I was in the same boat up until recently.  Just my two cents, FWIW.  I think it depends what you want.  I have no interest in being topped, but if that's what you want,  there are providers who specialize in that who likely won't be of interest to you otherwise.  Finding a TS who looks like her pics, gets hard, offers GF, and charges under $300 won't be easy, and many hit the $400 (pr hr) range.  

TS Bianca/ aka Sofia Bellez looks smoking hot, but I think she charges somewhere around $400 per hour.  If I were prepared to spend that kind of money, she would be my first choice.  Keep watching Eros NYC because providers are always coming and going.  But always research (100% of the time) because most ads on Eros are fake or dubious, and even the legit TS providers are often prone to poor or inconsistent reviews.  TS Asian Gee and TS Julie are two others who are sometimes work in NYC, look like their pics, seem to get mostly positive feedback.  I haven't tried them, so I can't vouch for them.    

Another option is attending one of the TS parties that run 7 days per week in the city.  You'll see an assortment of hot TS's in NYC, and you can probably chat with a few and maybe get some contact info.  That way you won't have to worry about being disappointed when the door opens..  I would, however, research anyone before arranging a private meeting with them.

FWIW, I saw TS Monica Mansfield recently.  The experience was "OK." Not bad, but more in line with her average reviews.  I will make an effort to see Tia Phoenix when she's in the NE, but I'm otherwise done with TS's for the foreseeable future because I feel I can get a much better service from a gg provider for a much lower price.
