No I do not have it reversed.  The myth that every male has a female 'side' came into being via the existence of the shared X chromosomes.

A reviewer used the abrieviations ( XX & XY )
to describe a TS.
Could sombody explain.

Thanks

XX is the female sex gene sequence, XY is the male sex gene sequence.  In which review does this appear?

Think you may have that reversed. Not sure.

Wasn't speaking of the myth but I did check it out and you are correct and I am wrong.

XX is the female and XY is the male as you originally stated. Sorry

No need to be sorry.  I'm a cellular biology nerd.  Sometimes I have too much passion for the microscopic.  It's pathetic when someone signs something with the addenum 'xoxoxox' and my first thought isn't "hugs and kisses", it is, "What form of chromosomal abnormality is that?".
