At this moment there are 89,652 provider profiles and 556,864 reviews here on TER, an average of 6-7 reviews per profile.  Today there are now 3,159 pre-op TS profiles here on TER and over 1,000 current TS ads on Eros.  Since I last posted a similar comment on 31-Jul-08, Eros TS ads have declined from about 1,200 (blame another one on the recession – it does seem like a good stimulus package is getting harder to find…).  Meanwhile TER TS profiles have increased nearly 300 since that date.  Many thanks to all those who contribute by writing reviews.  I know it can be an imposition to take the time to write a review and to see it through to approval but PLEASE keep writing those reviews.  The usefulness of this site to the TS community rises in direct proportion to the number of useful and current reviews and profiles available.

Here is a list of the most common reasons reviews may not be approved:

1.  Any review that TER believes may be false will not be posted.
2.  The Provider doesn't advertise on the net.
3.  The URL is missing or the link to the website is bad.
4.  Not one of the following criteria for contact information was given: No phone or pager numbers, email address, or reservation form.
5.  The client hasn’t written any or enough information in the comments area; or the comments are too nasty or incoherent.

My own suspicion is that #3 above may be the leading cause of reviews not being approved.  Check those URLs – with the ladies travelling as much as they are, one that is here today may be gone tomorrow, but she probably still has an ad somewhere – use the Eros search function to find her name or phone#.  Eros still permits an “All Cities” search for TS so if your lady still has an ad up it won’t be all that difficult to find.  Also be sure to get a specific URL – Eros has made that more challenging with their new website format but it still not very difficult to do – it just takes one or two more clicks.  There are other places to get ad URLs but I don’t recommend Craigslist because of the short duration of ads there.  Backpage is better and seems to be a common advertising venue as well.

With respect to item #1 on the list TER is now taking a very hard line.  “First time” reviewers writing on “new” providers who don’t already have any reviews are being automatically rejected as too many of these in the past have proven unreliable.  If you are a first time reviewer you will need to write your first few reviews on established providers with existing TER profiles.  Sorry, I know this makes things more difficult and slows the process down but it does appear to be reducing the number of bogus reviews being approved.  The good news is that TER also takes into consideration a members overall history of activity with the site:

“The longer you are a member and the more active you are as a member, the greater your chances of having a review approved. Activity includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the number of times you visit the site; number of reviews you have read; number of times you have posted on the discussion forums; and number of reviews you have submitted (even if they are not approved).”

You can track down the reasons any particular review has been rejected and you have the opportunity to correct any errors or omissions if it has not been rejected for the “first time” reasons above.  The very top line in each TER webpage has a button “Account Manager”.  On that page under the button “My Reviews” there should be a report of the status of each of your reviews.  Each rejected review should have a short explanation why it was unapproved and a blue box which should say “edit” so you can click on it and correct the previously submitted review.  Unless of course the explanation is that you cannot submit a review on that particular lady (you both are new, she is delisted, etc.)  If no explanation is given then just click on Review Questions to the left and ask specifically why that review was rejected.  They should respond back – be patient it may take some time for TER to get back to you.  The main point is to take care of each problem one at a time.  In a recent post on the subject of review approvals troyfinberg said: "Patience and polite persistence will win the day."

If getting a review posted here wasn't such a hassle, I would post more. The last two reviews I took the time to do both got flagged for me not reviewing enough. I've got two accounts that I use, one for GG's and another for TS, with over a dozen reviews between them, but who knows? Even if you jump through all the hoops, the review still might not make it to posting. I've found that bitching to management sometimes works, but that only increases the hassle factor.
I don't mind taking the time to share a good experience with other's, but I am certainly not going to waste my time writing up a bad one not knowing if it will ever see the light of day or not.

Sancho2:

Yeah review writing can be a hassle but TER has to have some high hoops to go through or we'd have way too many bogus reviews for the site to be useful.  As frequently as we see fake pictures and outright scams think of how much more of this there would be without sites like TER.  As I know you appreciate, TER has to work pretty hard to keep scams and fake favorable reviews off the site.

I do think the more reviews you write the easier it is for new ones to be approved.  Even if some of your first reviews are not approved they still "count" in the decision to approve the next one.  It buids a history under your username that makes it easier for TER to determine whether or not your review should be approved.  Most members have said that once they go through the process a few times they find it easier to write a "qualifying" review and begin to see their reviews getting approved with less and less hassle.

I've linked to your reviews below and see that these are all GG reviews for now.  I also see that Alexiah/Liah/Xarliah has Whitelisted you. The Whitelist is a pretty cool but unfortunatley much underutilized feature.  It should also help you get reviews approved in the future.  Wow - Alexiah is one well reviewed lady with 14 pages of reviews (photo follows), but then again GG provders tend to have many more reviews on average than TS which is why it's so important to encourage more TS review writing.

You haven't given us your TS account unsername but using two accounts can be a good idea and lots of members take advantage of this "unwritten" TER policy.  Let us know if you ever have any problem with it.  I know it doubles the hassle factor of getting reivews approved as you have to get "established" as a review writer under both usernames.

Hang in there, your contributions and persistence are appreciated!

i have to echo Sanchos' complaint on posting
reviews on TER can be a hassle. i can understand the weak weblink, or false/wrong phone number and the concern for bogus fake reviews, but i've given up because some reviews were rejected because of the No.5 rule.
To have reviews rejected because they didn't have enough GENERAL details and too much JUICY details, or this part of the juicy is more of the General ...blah,blah,blah,
Sorry guys, but this is not a college essay. it does tend to frustrate and discourage a reviewer from posting.i would think the admin would have sorted this out to help/welcome the reviewer more.

I can understand the need for caution but the critique problems i encountered in the past makes it very inconvient and makes me hesitant to give a review.

By the way, thanks for the advice,TSTempted
Also i have always wished these latest/newest post messages could bump to the top of the forum board, this maybe the only site i know that doesnt do that.

Try using the search function on the board.  Just leave everything blank and put a number in "From" box a few days longer than when you were last online.  I know the threads get jumbled up that way but it's still a good way to be sure and catch any posts on threads or frrom people of interest.

Also sorry to hear that youve given up on reviews - you've written four very good ones IMHO and on gals that needed additional 411 too.  Maybe you'll try again for us someday when the mood strikes.  Thanks for your past contributions and continuing participation.

Take care,
