we do help each other out, but providers in san diego has been covered before, there are even posts with specific links to quality providers endorsed by great sources. all you have to do is look. the open requests become tedious at best. one should look around, narrow it down among a couple of providers and then ask for info or direction along with some info like what are you looking for? the who's the best ? is just boring and you get what you ask.
So, after a year or two being a mod, I'd have to say..........
About 25% of the requests for info are from members who are not internet savy and do not understand how to search. For this group, most are happy to help.
The remaining 75% is evenly split or very close in my opinion.....
25% are looking for wack material
25% are lazy
And the last 25% forget this is a board full of members and volunteers and think because they paid for a membership, we are a service that comes along with it....and we owe them a response... NOT.
Then out of the entire pie above, I'd say about 5% report back and maybe 10% say "Thank You".
Its not the end of the world but wish we would have more peeps participate and do their homework first.
Gee...sorry I asked. For the record I have written several reviews but most of them have been disapproved. I'm not going to spend an hour trying to decipher what exactly the Eds are looking for me to say so I just let them stay in limbo. So, for all of you who whine that "oh, you don't contribute" first consider that we do contribute but the Eds shut down our contributions. I.e., not my fault.
