Alas, there are plenty of lunkheads who hand over the donation.  Idiots.

Plus, there are some good-lookin' gals that use fake pictures of playboy playmates.  The lunkhead may feel "relieved" that they're not a 300 lb. gorilla and still give up the donation.

Then, believe it or not, there are those lunkheads who have actually tried to defend such scamming behavior right here on the board.

Newbies don't understand it very well either.  They may call to set up the appointment with their "real" cell phone, and then they may feel too afraid to "upset" the scammer out of fear.

Nothing works the best except for a history of proven (and true) reviews.

I'm writing an e-mail to EROS, begging them to introduce Rachel's idea of "EROS Certified Photos."  Sure, they'd probably charge extra for it, but serious providers would probably be glad to pay it if it translates into better traffic.

Mucho THANKS to a contributor on a GG board (I will respect his privacy)....just pm'd me about a work-around for the EROS images--it's sooooo simple and fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

It's called the TinEye Bookmarklet.

To work with EROS:

1.  Open the EROS ad into its own tab.

2.  In your bookmarks, click on the bookmark called TinEye Images.

3.  A new tab opens and loads ALL images.

4.  Now, you can do a couple of things:

 *  Right-click on picture and open it into a new tab (TinEye automatically checks the image)

OR

 * You can left-click on the image to check it, (but that means navigating backwards after checking each image).

TinEye is still not fool-proof, but it offers an excellent resource for exposing fake picture providers.

And just in time apparantly..I went through the N.Y. listings today and I would swear a solid 50%
are "you've got to be kidding me" fake..it's sad.
Not sure if it's because of what you were talking about yesterday or not Cat but they seem to have really gone off the dep end. They're not even bothering to say "100%real" or "what you see is what you get" or anything..just pix of gg models in various states of undress and then the text of their ad.

If I recall correctly EROS used to do that? No?
Maybe I'm thinking back to the old print magazine days..(lol! old bastard that I am:) I can definately remember certain pictures of girls with "something-verified" pasted over the pix..Anyway!!! It's a great idea period.
I've been meaning to ask what does a "V.I.P." mean? I've seen it on a small percentage of advertisers and while I can't say for sure// I believe I've seen it on ads I considered to be both definately honest and "somewhat questionable"?? Just curious...and I've also been meaning to thank you and Dog for all your hard work here. I appreciate your skills and efforts(even moreso since you get no $ for it) You both rock! Thanx again!
