I heard transgender woman who was in a coma and hospitalized in Elmhurst Hospital few months ago, friend of mine told me she got silicon injection to her breast but then unfortunately the loose silicon traveled to her heart, I was not sure about the legitimacy of the story and I believe she was in early 20s, but when I read NYtimes this morning, I assuming it was her, because I havent heard the news about her since.
A friend of mine already spent almost 10K for her silicon and botox, and she keep telling me to get one, I respect her opinion, but I will not do it, she can't convince me while she has few silicon bump in her hips, and I don't want to tell her, cos she would get very defensive ( hormones kickin'), even my post op TS friend in LA who has a lot of done to her including silicon injections to her hips and butt, just scraped it out, she told me the silicon was started to go down to her legs, she spent 5K to get her silicon removed from her butt and hips, and she warned me not to get silicon injection.
I know the demand out there for us to look as feminine as we can, but if it's danger to our health I would not do it, I rather stay as I'm, though men only want me for 1 hour or more, not for their life companion...LOL. I will only do it for me not for everyone else, whether their like it or no with the look I have, it's not my problem...
And it is very important for the government to start paying attention to minority, especially transgender. We are the most vulnerable people who need to be protected and be loved, NY State insurance don't even pay for hormones treatment, and hormones prescription is quite expensive, thats why some of us bought it from the black market. And if we don't take hormones we would be judge for looking too masculine!
Well, hopefully we and guys especially, can be acceptance as who we are, I sometimes had the urge to get that injection, but most of my close friends told me no, and if I accept myself, everyone will accept me, thats my opinion..
