I met Jezebel a few years back, prior to her movies.  Its unfortunate because suicide only hurts the people who love you, and in my opinion, is an easy way out.  I've had loved ones take their lives and all I can say is things must have gotten really bad to make this decision.  I hope she does rest in peace.  Very Sad.

Very sad news.

Ironically I first heard about this last Tuesday, when we were all wearing purple for Spirit Day to call attention to the pervasive problem of suicide in the GLBT community.

I met Jenna once or twice a few years back. I didn't know her intimately but it still breaks my heart when I hear of one of my transsexual sisters passing away--especially when it's accompanied by the words "suicide" or "homicide".

My sympathies to those who knew her. I see so much beauty and talent in our community that often goes unrecognized, and it's unfortunate. I do not blame those who choose to check out early--we all know that the world can be a harsh and unforgiving place. I just hope that all my TS sisters & brothers realize that there has, there is, and there always will be a place for us in this life...and this place need not be a place of sadness or failure but a place of happiness and success--it's really up to you. We're all special people and life shouldn't be cut short before we realize our true potential.

I never knew her but admired her photos greatly, as she did resemble soooo greatly the beautiful mixed island girls I saw growing up in Hawaii "in my eyes". Learning her desicion brought me to tears last night. I guess your life isnt always as good as you look. I hope she is free, where ever she is.
