thanks for sharing your experiences Dog, i guess i will stick with the frat house, and will have to check out the silver platter to find some cute latina ts girls. did the bar noa noa ever exist in tijuana? read about the place somewhere on the net
herd tijuana is now safe? has anyone been there in the last month to verify that? just wondering, wold lke to go there to play someday.
The border towns are the most dangerous, as thats the front line for the drug gangs and point where it gets smuggled into the U.S. I'd say its proabably worse now than ever before because its now a problem in resort towns like Acapulco. In the past month or two, there have been a series of execution style murders cutting heads off.
The chances of you getting involved in something like that may be small but its there and it is not worth the risk.
totally agree with your thoughts, i think a mexico official claimed its okay for travel to mexico. i guess i may have to wait longer than i would like to check it out down there. were there ever t girl clubs or hang outs, t girl specific?
i guess the name of a t girl club is noa noa? may it still be around?
Very cool place but extremely dangerous. I was there last year and had a great time. Until I was walking to the tunnel (solo). The Mexican police stopped me said that they found drugs on me ( Never have done them) . They gave me a choice of "Paying my fine" $350.00 dollars or waiting in jail over the weekend to have my case heard. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. I'ts nirvanna for hobbyists but certainly not worth the danger
First, I love the latin culture. I have always enjoyed visiting Mexico. The resort areas are nice and the border towns are an experience. Maybe I do need to write a book but glad I came to my senses and am still alive.......As much as I enjoyed going to Mexico, I serously doubt I'll return......All of this has happened within the past 6 years and its been over two years since I was there.......
1. Fishing trip to Ensenada....on the way back, motorcycle cop in TJ pulls me over and drains my wallet. I could have played the game but he would have taken me into downtown TJ to pay the fine. He was more than a crook. "Hand me your license and wrap 100 bones around it and I'll hand it back".
2. I too was frisked at the crossing back to the US by the local cops. Crooks...got away though....
3. I walked out of Adelitas in TJ to go to the hotel next door. Cops grabbed me and threw me in the car because I had a beer. The hotel gives you a plastic cup????Well, I was driven around for about an hour in the back and they wanted 100 bones......Nope, didn't have it and they took 60....They also dropped me off at my favorite taco stand and told me to have a great night.
4. I went to TJ with a buddy for an overnight adventure.......We checked into a 5 star hotel and the crooks took my CC number and tried to charge a bunch of other stuff. I put a hold on it and avoided it all but what a hassle.
4. My last TJ tour....I broke my own rules...."Don't walk alone, don't look drunk, and don't go to the ATM". I did all three when my buddy was in a bar and I about got killed....I was on Revolution around the big arch, got strangled and all of my personal stuff taken, wallet, watch, u name it and the cops were in on it....I am not a small guy but the took me by suprise, a guy twice my size came up behind me and strangled me, took me to the ground....seconds later, the rodents ran up, punched me in the stomach and took everything...the cops in TJ just laughed. It was fun trying to get back into the US that night.
So, as much as it was quite the adventure, its not worth your life. Also, the TS girls or a large majorty are meth/crack heads and robbers also.
TJ, as much as I like it - pay the extra and stay in the US.

One trick I learned is don't carry a wallet, and keep most of our cash in your shoe. Then you can make a show out of emptying your pockets for the policia, even beg them to let you keep a little bit. When they figure they've gotten all they can get out of you, they typically let you go.
Once my buddies and I were driving back from Rosarito. We were hammered. My buddy went the wrong way down a one way street in TJ. We got pulled over. Now, had this happened int he US, it would have been a DUI, jail, and thousands of dollars in expenses for sure. But in TJ, we simply asked the cop if we could "pay our fine" on the spot. We emptied our pockets and wallets, and handed him $45 on the down low. He told us to get the F outta town. Sweet!
Overall the good times I've had in TJ/Rosarito/Ensenada far outweigh the bad ones, but your point is well taken. I haven't been back in years definitely won't go to TJ again in the foreseeable future due to all the chaos.
Friends of mine who live in North County San Diego haven't been there for two years. They have told me stories that are similar to LATSDog's. Even Spanish speaking Mexican Americans are not safe in TJ. A few US Citizens of Mexican ancestry were killed there in the past year. My best friend had problems with the TJ police two years ago; they cleaned him out by planting drugs in his car. They took everything but his license. He had to cancel his credit cards when he returned. They followed him to the border. When he told the US custom agents what happened to him, they just looked at him and said, "I wouldn't go back if I were you." Nothing they could do. He didn't have enough gas to get home, and with no cash and no credit cards, he had to call his dad in Oceanside, who had to drive down to San Diego and buy gas for him. His dad was pissed.
Caught some nice ones in Costa Rica, but no ASP action at all. Too bad, there was this chick from San Jose that visited here a few years ago, and think she was the hottest, tightest, just what the Doctor ordered ASP I've seen. Not where I was at this time around. Que lastima!
I was there in early november and the cabbie told me it was a lot safer because they caught some drug lord recently and december, apparently all hell broke loose as the gangs started competing for the business in his absence.
LATSDog, that's some scary shit. I tell my buddies to take a cab from the border to adelitas or hong kong, do your biz and hop in a cab and ride back to the border. Don't wander the streets.
Totally in agreement about the cab there and back. Thats the most sensable way to go. I can say that a few of my identified TJ issues were self induced like walking around on Revolution drunk by myself but a few of the others would have happened even if I took a cab there and back. I have had some great times in Mexico (TJ, Eagle Pass, Mexicali, and Nuevo Laredo) and done some stupid stuff but the environment that exists today combined with my desire to live vs. get laid makes me want to hang on this side of the border ![]()
The best bit of advice anyone can give is....Take a taxi there and back, do not wander, and go in a large group....more than 2 people and the cops won't hassle ya.
