NOLA used to be fantastic, at one time it had to be a top five travel destination but things have changed there over the past few years. One thing you won't find there is a lot of competition today. I'd say stick with Chicago, Dallas, Houston, St. Louis and KC in the Midwest.
Don't forget us SD peeps Sasha. Landscape in San Diego, "America's Finest City" is excellent; and coming from NJ to here in the winter...well need I say more?
Even tho I lived in LA for many years. I still have no clue what cities to visit there. I mean other than San Diego. any recommendations?

Since you already know LA, and are aware of SD, all that's left worth working at are SF and Orange County. Although I've been told by some ladies that OC gents are generally younger, less respectful, and like to lo-ball rates. Only repeating what I've heard you OC guys, so feel free to rebut before slamming my PM box!! lol
Le Round Up used to be a good dive bar where you could meet some girls after midnight. Some reports are that the place closed but it was open three years ago when I was last in NOLA. http://www.yelp.com/biz/le-roundup-new-orleans
