I like your idea Rachel,
I always let my guys know when am going to be in their city, but sometimes it doesn't work.
See, like 4 months a go my guys in LA all regulars.
Sart calling me asking when I will be back, I told them all a date and ask them if they want me to call them in advance like 1 week before my arrival, they all said yes, so I did it...I did call them again when I arrived to LA.
I was only going to see them, I was not going to post my ad on Eros, but since they didn't respond the first time I did olace my ad 1 day before...Anyway, they where 25 guys again all regulars...NO ONE called me back or come see me.
ONLY one that I acctually forgat to call is the one that come see me because he saw my ad.
So this time the regulars/provider win/win fact didn't work.
Now they all calling me again asking me the same.
Now I am telling them, when  you see my ad is when I am coming back. they ask me to call them but I said, nope if you see my ad then you call me.
But I am not planing to rush my ass all the way there and cancel my tour just for them to do the same? no thanks.

Unfortunately for you India it doesn’t sound like you had any “confirmed” appointments before you embarked on your visit to LA.  I’m sorry it didn’t work out but yours is not an unusual complaint.   I think what Rachel is really saying is that appointments booked in advance with “reputable” providers and hobbyists are almost always honored and work out well indeed for all concerned.  I’m sure if one of your regulars had booked in advance they would have kept the date.  Correct me if I’m wrong but advance bookings are usually better for all concerned – the lady is assured of an appointment and can better prepare for your time together and I’d also bet they are more often multiple hour appointments and therefore more remunerative.  I suspect many hobbyists are happy to plan on multiple hour appointments with “known” providers if they know that they will be given reciprocal consideration.  

Those who have followed my comments here in the way back machine will know that I have always lamented this unaccountable difference between the TS and GG sides of the hobby.  Most participants here will have dabbled in both and they know that references and appointments are more the rule with the quality/reputable providers over on the GG side.  A preponderance of TS ads seem to be prefer the ”one hour notice” rule and so many TS providers do not like to be contacted for advance appointments.  I guess because there are just too many no shows in the TS market – come on guys grow a pair.  If you make a TS date it’s time and money for both concerned, just like with your ATF GG, so show some respect and keep your appointments.  If you chicken out or shit happens call as soon as you can to let the lady know so she can rebook your time.  Usually there are no bad feelings either way if you show a little respect and common courtesy.

It would sure clean up a lot of the crap out there in the TS market if there was more use of references and pre-bookings.  References work both ways – a no show client can’t get a reference any more than a bait and switch or rush job provider.  TER has a “Whitelist” – I’ve suggested before that we use it.  Any takers?  

I really like something the “cat drug in” on another thread on a slightly different  topic from a few days ago (yes, I still keep an eye on the board now and again):

“Have you all noticed that only the top-notch, world-class girls are participating regularly?  Uh, care to figure it out?  Because they are the best and most reliable—DUH.  When a girl posts here, it’s with the big leagues.  This is it.  It’s very high scrutiny, high pressure, with INCREDIBLE potential rewards.  …I’d rather see a girl from the TS Board any day—and I’ll give more to do it.  And, I will wait for it.

Posting here also helps to keep a girl going, now doesn’t it?  So, when one of these gals is really tired with a sore butt, and they have one more visit for the evening, they will reach down into the heart of their TER reviews and say: Hell, yeah, bring it on!  How will they face the board if they don’t give their best?  That’s part of what makes them top-of-the-world girls.”


How many hobbyists would be willing to subject themselves to the same level of scrutiny or professionalism?

P.S.  Rachel and India, if I should ever be so lucky as to be in the same geography as either one of you (and my schedule permits), you can bet I will be contacting you to prebook a multiple hour appointment and you count on me being there with bells on at the appointed time.

I absolutely adore the effort you give, Rachel!  For me, establishing a rapport before a visit is a significant factor, and I think it speaks volumes of goodness about you and those girls who do this.

Granted, not all girls are in a position of creating rapports via e-mail, and I realize that not all of the guys will want or have the time for such communication.

Still, it's nice to know that creating the rapports is still important.  For a first date, a dinner with dessert sounds more delicious to me.

Ya know, if I lived in Chicago--I'd be bankrupt with a smile on my face!
