really interesting. People should really take the time to understand gender identity issues and not just judge the TS community for what they see on the outside. I've never tried to pretend that I knew or experienced the kind of issues transitioning girls go through. I've only been compassionate and understanding and non-judgmental. I'm still learning. Thanks for sharing Cat.
As a transgendered Cat, I often find myself in-between worlds. I'm not TS, not gender-straight; instead, I'm classified as a CD (cross dresser). As a result, I'm not quite accepted by any of the worlds. However, there are wonderful people from both worlds that do accept and love us--they are awesome.
Even though I am under the transgender umbrella, I'm not femme full-time. That's one reason why I worship TS's--they are my heroes.
Anyway, from time to time, I come across a website that's really positive to read and written well--a nice change from the gloom and doom stuff, right?
There are others out there just like me, who need encouragement. And, there are men are really need to have a better understanding of what the girls have gone through. I suspect the TS girls will have a chuckle as they read through some of the experiences. To all, enjoy and have a great day!

I lived 60 years in the dark. Someone switched on a light 6 months ago. I have met several TG and TS ladies. No there is nothing wrong with being who you are. I have nothing but respect for all of you. Just wish I had not been asleep so long. Keep up your great work on this site.

Exactly!! I am no expert by any imagination. When I had my first experience I spent several days reading and researching the TS gender. Everyone needs to do some reading. Especially those that see a TS. These people are women and should always be treated as women. They are amazingly wonderful, caring people.
Cat i am with you. I consider TS very attractive physically but also find their commitment admirable & also stimulating. They are truly heroes. Between life experience and body chemistry there are many different reasons for gender identity issues each one unique & personal. People who deal with these issues everyday, put themselves out there despite society's biases are very brave & special people. Just part of my personal story i had real sexual identiy issues at a young age that i had pretty much blocked out until a girlfriend said something that triggered the memory i had buried for 30 years. I was unable to talk to her about it, but have another friend that i was able to confide in. It really helped even though that was a transitional phase in my life & i know why. It helped explain my sexuality and also why i seem to attract alot of women who usually are not attracted to men. Anyway kudos to allthe lovely ladies who have my eternal respect.
