I watched a video (http://bit.ly/9NwBww) that had a reenactment of an arrest, where apparently the guy (male escort) was arrested after being asked - "It's $350 for 2 hrs, right?"
I'm sitting here thinking -- *but the guy hasn't actually done anything wrong! It's legal to sell your time!*
I haven't been able to catch up with the guy in the video to see where things went after he had actually been arrested.
I think the moral of the story is that any discussion of money can be used against you as "probable cause" of prostitution and you can be arrested for it. Hell, the police can use just about anything as "probable cause" and arrest you. However, if you know how to protect your rights and you haven't ever technically exchanged money for sexual contact, you probably won't be convicted of prostitution. That doesn't mean it won't suck while you're in holding though.
Seems like the best you can do is hope that the police don't target you specifically, be careful of how you word everything, and remain calm if you do have an encounter with LE.
What do you guys think? Does this sound right to you?
Sometimes a ladies ad does not mention the donation. A well reviewed poster to this forum has mentioned caution to ladies about discussing this and other issues with a client on the phone or email.
I know some ladies get mad when guys ask this when it is in their ads, that's wasting time. But, for legit questions, (and if the donation amount is not mentioned, or perhaps she has no reviews to know what kind of service she provides) what is the way to go about clearing this up if she is worried it might be LE on the phone doing the asking?
I keep my phone calls brief and to the point, but you do have to make them sometimes to ask.
It's a good question to re-visit, Sancho, because the answers are somewhat timely. That is, the response may change with time and the market.
As for the board, the Dog and I are careful to use "roses" and no mention of cash.
As for the girls (especially those who are inexperienced), the mention of a donation amount may frighten them, but I don't know.
1) Maybe they still learning how to decide between a bonafide client or LE call? 2) Maybe they're really a scammer? 3) Maybe they just want some donation, so they don't want to turn people away?
Cat there is lots and lots of legal precedence already in place that clearly defines that the mention of cash or any other euphemism for cash....ie, roses, kisses, hugs, etc. can and will be used as a reference to money offered.
Im not sure how to say this, so i will be broad. Anything offered; money, a car, shopping, a small gift even. My point being, Its not just money, its anything of value that would peek intrests of law enforcement.
I am a first timer looking to have a GFE. I understand and respect how donations work. Is an hour a good amount of time for a first time and should a gratuity be offered. I know I probaply sound stupid but I don't want to be insulting
Oh goodness, what lady could turn down a gratuity?!
Actually, it depends on the gent and the girl and the experience, I suppose. Some post on their sites what gifts they enjoy, but if you're like me, some of those gifts are a looooooooong ways out of my purchasing power.
Just don't forget that you should not fall in love. She's a professional providing a service, and you're making a donation.
Personally, I'd prefer a surprise gift, but I suspect most girls rather like the greenbacks. You might consider this: unless you have too much of it, put it towards the next session.
Also, if she's visiting your town, then flowers might not be a good idea; quite awkward on the plane.
Oh man, the first TS GFE. Choose wisely young grasshopper, for that first time is going to be great, hopefully. AN hour should be good, if you are as excited as I was, the deal might be over in 15 minutes! Just kidding, but things can happen quickly.
I always say I am done tipping, but I still usually do, or at least show up prepared to. Great dates are great! Well worth the samolians, and I am from a smaller market, so for some reason I think tipping is going to be like this big reward for a lady who has decided to visit my city. But I am not sure that my extra 50 clams makes too big of an impression. Nice gesture, but I think the Cat has a point about saving it for a return engagement.
