To the OP, I agree....it's crazy what a TS charges now for no reviews and many of them fake pics.What's going on with the rates for these girls. Was browsing TS Escorts. I draw the line at 300, that's been the median for most TS providers from what I've seen. On the flip side you're getting a premium service, Greek, for a low price in comparison to what cis gender female providers are charging. You gotta think though, prices are where they are because somebody out there is paying for it.
For a good top ill pay 500 but they have to be well endowed and super into it.
This is a very old topic, instead of posting the same complaints every 3 months try checking older posts. This topic has been ongoing for 10-15 or more years. This is why this board is becoming more and more dated, less and less reviews, more people jumping on asking for questions they could find the answers to themselves and the same topics that are more or less complaints. When I first started actively posting on the boards I was frequently met with this attitude. Guys who had been on the boards for decades, and seen it all, shooting down a new monger that came here for advice or answers. It became a very dreaded experience, so much so that I just stop posting questions. What is a "same old" complaint to you, maybe be completely new for a new monger just getting into TER, and specifically TS providers and reviewing in general. We complain that not enough reviewers review TS providers then give them shit when they come here to ask a question. Which is head scratching. Not to mention TER was shut down for some years, so that post that you might have seen asking a similar question may be outdated and a few years old. I suggest that if you see a post that makes you roll your eyes because it's the "same old complaint over and over", just bypass it. Isn't the objective supposed to be guys/girls on a review board attempting to grow it, not gate-keep information and be the "get off my lawn guy"?

Everything is more expensive so of course rates are going to go up. Especially for girls that travel/tour and stay in nicer hotels. They don’t want to fuck three guys to cover one night and I can’t blame them for that. That’s before even factoring in extra costs for being in the industry and how it’s inherently more expensive being a trans person.
As for reviews, a lot of girls just don’t care about getting them and clearly don’t have trouble pulling clients without them. This is especially the case with younger providers. They have plenty of other ways to prove legitimacy, show what they are like, show “performance” skills etc. I’ve said this before, but a lot of them just straight up don’t know about this site. Most of the time when I ask if they want me to write a review they assume it will be on ts4rent. Even the reviews here you have to take with a grain a salt whether good or bad, because everyone has different expectations.
How is it more expensive to be trans?
Surgery, hormone therapy, laser hair removal (if needed) to name a few things. Basically the extra work it takes to be ultra feminine in this line of work. It’s more expensive to be a woman in general and meet the beauty standards some people demand.
The problem is the prices have gone up more than the rate of inflation. The average rate of inflation since 2019 is a little over 4%. Thus, when we all had a good date with a higher end $ TS in 2019 for $300.00, it should be a little under $375.00 on the high end today but it's not. It is not uncommon for twice that much now, or even more for some.
As long as we pay it, it will continue to go as high as the market will bare (pun intended). We do it to ourselves; supply and demand. I am guilty of it too. It's too bad, it used to be an affordable hobby for most of us.
Yeah but you can’t compare cost of service offered by a person to the cost of a good. That person pays the increased cost for each individual item and has daily expenses. The increased cost of living is compounded and not to mention cost of living varies wildly by location.
If you can't pay the rate find a new hobby! If you want to blame someone look to the clown in the White House. Next year the standard rate will be $500 to $800. I was mention in an earlier post, Inflation is the culprit not the vendors.

If I do recall, FOSTA and SESTA were bills introduced by Republicans and signed into law by the "guy in there right now" right? So effectively FOSTA/SESTA took away BP, and other sites, which enabled competition and lower rates and left us with what we have now. Very few sites to choose from, lowering competition, lowering selection of providers, and sky high rates. Your rationale makes no sense.

There is a lot of web-sites, but we do lose some here and there. In 2021 I sure started getting hurt from the inflation, just like most folks in America. And that included having to pay a lot for illegal aliens. Thankfully it's getting better! And I know this should be reserved for the "Political Board", but I also did see Don Trump as better to vote for President. As did the other 80% around here. In November 2016 I got a nice surprise. I saw my money becoming worth a lot more! That helped me a lot, in every country I was in! It seemed strange that it started in November instead of February, but no complaints! The average rate I see today is $300 - $500. To me that's up from $250 - $400 average 5-8 years ago. That's about 3.5% to 4% or the average cost of living increase. Asking price or advertised price is usually not the actual price, just like so many other exotic or goods, services and products for the more elite. Just like with other aspects of life, we shouldn't live beyond our means, is this any different?
Rates might also depend where you live. Maybe for someone not relying on reviews as there seems to be plenty in the $300 range. I keep a running lost of providers I’m interested in throughout the country. A few are even overseas. While $300 exists, it’s more rare for well reviewed ladies. So, personally, I don’t include that in the average. Now mind you, I only top, so it’s possible the range changes for those who bottom.
From what I see, where I am, and what interests me, $400-$600 is more the range. You can really apply this to most big cities since I’m looking all over in the event a lady travels my way or me hers. Again, not saying $300 doesn’t exist. It’s just more the exception.
That said, I don’t mind them so much in this range. It’s the $700+ ones that seem absurd to me. Since there are plenty of options in my comfortable range, I’m not complaining. But I do wonder who’s willing to shell out that much when it’s clearly out of the range that has plenty of options.
In Chicago there are all kinds of solid $300 trans providers with 5+ reviews. Every $50 you go up from opens up the possibilities. Advertised price is NOT the sale price, if a girl is at $400 to $500 for the hour and she is well reviewed offer her $500 or $600 for an hour and a half session. Most likely if she's well reviewed she isn't going to rip you off and you will either get more like a VIP session or they will give you 90 minutes. So you just got about 30% discount on her services.
Europe is primarily different becasue sex isn't seen as so taboo there, in general escort rates are a bit lower. The girls there do a bit more business on average than here, probably another reason their rates are a bit lower also. $250 Euros is about $300 US dollars you can find all kinds of girls there for $250-$350 US dollars in Europe, top notch girls, pon stars, girls with huge only fans followings and so on.
Perhaps I am pickier than you, or like I previously mentioned you’re including ones who are more tops. For clarity, I’m not typically going near her if she has below an 8 overall or I see red flag reviews. I have 5 Chicago ladies on my list. They are $400, 3 at $500, and one at $700. And I’m not haggling a better deal for 90 minutes and claiming her hourly rate is now better.

I think hotel fees are one of the bigger hits financially for them and depending how many clients they allow themselves to see perday or even if they top how many they could only see after busting I know quite a few refuse to stay in low end hotels because of bad areas and poor room qualities so they take a bigger hit with the nicer hotel but I would say this affects them most when they have a slow timing and come more out of pocket then profit
This makes sense if they are touring or if they happen to be one of the few who require a hotel even when they are local. This doesn't explain those who host at their own homes in their home cities though.
If everyone else was charging a certain rate why would you charge less even if your costs are lower? The market rate is the market rate. Lowering your prices is just going to attract crappy customers.
Well sure, if everyone else does. But non touring ladies far outweigh touring ladies. This seems to be even more so the case with trans women. So absolutely everyone else doing it factors in. But I still don’t think it’s the touring ladies with hotel expenses that is causing the market shift. I think it’s just inflation in general and the fact that as prices go up and they see customers are willing to pay, they continue to test the market.

The best I ever knew was Miss Carla of Panama City. One night I was driving on the main drag and saw an extreme beauty queen in the street lights.
