No problem.  Not Manhattan but a few cities south of that for sure.

One of my best 4th of July memories was one spent at Manhattan/Hermosa Beach. Started drinking mid-morning, kept getting invited into random house parties all day long along the beachfront. Didn't know any of the folks but everyone was great with the So Cal hospitality. That would have been 4th of July in 2000. Great time, perfect weather, great fireworks that evening.

Yes that's a great place for good eye candy.
