how are you guys able to spot fake pics so quickly from ?

The only two sheer signs i've seen so far are: 1.girls posting pics of TS porn stars (they are gambling that men won't know that the pics are of porn stars) -  i can't tell you how many times i've seen Yasmine Lee's dick pic on so many false misleading ads.

2. Google the numbers.

i admit that i have been very skeptical and shying away new ads from new girls since there are so many fake pics with girls using other models' pics.
This is just not fair to the new girls that really ARE trying to be honest.
i have to make a decision on three new ads and determine if they are legit and if i should see them.

Do you guys have any other methods to spotting fake pics? Can you link me with TER's best discussion threads regarding spotting fake pics?

Admittedly, it's still hit or miss.  I spend quite a bit of time on the 'net, probably too much time, and I lurk around every corner. (I'm a cat, so I'm curious about everything.)  As a TG, I also surf the world for lingerie ideas and so forth, so I cut a pretty big swath of the 'net.

Sometimes, I will type a short description of the photo into Google--that, again, is hit or miss.

I've also played with photoshop, so I'm getting better at discovering air brushing, cut-and-paste cocks, enlarging breasts, etc.

By looking at the source code, one can see if an EROS ad was created since its big pagename change to numbers.  But, that will only work for so long.

I know you've done this, but even I sometimes forget to search our own board.  I will also search with the TER name feature in Reviews, and even with other info if it's available.

Another thing: When an ad has expired, say on CL or Backpage, many times there will be a "Cached" page (the link is below the Google description).

I'm very passionate about exposing fake providers because, in my mind, they are stealing money from the real ones.  Unfortunately, fake providers have no ethics, so they don't care.

I'd search the board for "fake" with the "exact word" feature.  Even so, it's still hit or miss.

When I first started on this board and even when I first became a mod, my knowledge of fake pics was quite inexperienced.  But, in time, and from lots of research, I'm getting better.

Oh yeah, another thing I've started doing: When I find a fake, I do a screen capture of the entire page and save it for future reference.  Firefox has a great add-on called "Screengrab" that is terrific.

Another good way to spot a fake or stolen pic is to check it on TinEye. You can get the browser plugin at the link below:

Good one, Stuart! :)  Yes, I forgot to mention Tin Eye.  It's o.k. though, not 100%.  But, if we all keep submitting websites, it'll really help the database.

While trying to decide between a female and a shemale for an upcoming trip to Boston, I found this - not a TS, but it was such a horrible photoshop job I thought you guys might get a laugh

I also forgot to mention the TER plug-in for searches.  True, it's not really for spotting fake pictures, but I recently added it to my browser.

For EROS, however, if I'm viewing the girls via the frames (when the boxes are on the left of the page), it doesn't seem to work very well.  I get about over 96,000 girls.

But, when I right-click and Open in New Tab, to view the page by itself, that seems to work well.

(The TER plug-in adds a line to your right-click menu.  You can un-install it anytime you need.)

OMG--that really is a terrible photoshop job.  Still, I'm sure there's a lunkhead just for her. :)

but whether blurring, blacking out/cut-off head pic or fake pics, it still gives out impressions of suspicious intentions nonetheless. i for one still wouldn't be interested in any distorted facial pics on ads for safety reasons.

i remember awhile back a popular, local tgirl used to do that (hide her face) until she posted that so many potential clients asked her for an actual face. Maybe some girls prefer to personally email real faces to inquiring, potential clients. but Me: even emailing pics  still wouldn't make me feel at ease with so many scammers still using other girls pics.
