And thats just an example, I'm sure there are other ways as well to be delisted.

I just read a recent review from Las Vegas that I think is fake. What should I do about it?

Reasons I think it is fake:
1. No ad site listed. I Googled the number and came up with a Las Vegas CityVibe ad. Okay sounds good, not quite the CityVibe pics are of a girl on BP who posts with a different name and number,
2. Services for price, everything for $25.00/30 mins
3. Reading the details of what took place sound just to good to be true

I won't list the review because maybe it is valid. If any of the moderators want to check it out send me a msg and I'll let you know what review it is. Hell its bad enough with all of the fake ads but having to be suspicious of TER reviews is a bit too much.

With every review/profile page, there is a tab at the top labeled "report a problem". You can use this to notify TER admin about missing or incorrect profile info. for example, I recently noticed that a provider I've seen had some don't knows listed in her profile, even though she has a ton of reviews that tell you straight up, so I reported it and they have been changed from don't know, to the correct answer.

That's just one example of some of the many uses of the "report a problem" feature. Give it a spin next time you spot something you think is amiss with a provider profile. Mods can't do anything about the reviews one way or another.:)

Only my opinion but I have had many reviews deleted.  My suggestion is that you stick to the facts, provide the necessary proof and do not be too long winded.  I guess everyone is busy, including the admins at TER so if your email is too long, it might be overlooked.

Always provide:

Link to TER Reviews and Provider TER ID
Link to ad you are referencing
If fake pics and it happens to be a female model for example, provide the link that identifies that as well.
Summarize your reasoning in a brief note and hope for the best.

To sum it up, stick to the facts.

Unfortunately there are plenty of scammers...If you recall maybe a month or two ago, a provider stated on her website that she would give discounts to her clients if they posted a TER reviews in advance of their session.  Amazing....and Bold..she had step by step instructions on how to post a review.  Once reported to TER, this info was removed from her site in less than 24 hours.

Scammers exist everwhere, not just here so lets do our best to ensure our contributing board members have a good time.

Hopefully, you gave this guy what he needs to actually make a contribution to others on the board.  Given his evidence and the abundance of scammers, it seems his concerns about not identifying the review were a bit cockeyed.  If he had been specific, the chance of damaging other providers would be non-existent and everyone could decide for himself the likelihood that the review may be a sham.

While we're on the subject of reviews Dog; I wanted to ask "What does "de-listed" mean? I spent a 1/2hr. writing up a review to the best of my ability only to have it rejected because the provider had been "delisted"...It was a positive review/ the girl was a sweetheart and in no way a "scammer" or anything of that sort. Just curious as to what might get a provider delisted here on TER...(Not to mention the fact it would have been nice to know before I spent that 1/2hr. hunt and pecking out a review that was going to go nowhere :(  Appreciate it!

Delisted basically means TER has deleted every detail regarding the questioned provider, reviews, discussions, etc.  Why?  Well it can happen for many reasons.  The common one that seems to come up is when I provider contacts TER regarding a review that may have been posted or something like that....Maybe they do not want reviews at all, maybe they feel a review was posted that is fake and written by another provider, etc.....What happens is the provider gets all worked up, becomes threatening to TER, maybe mentions their lawyer.....

TER says OK, you want to play that game?  Then POOF, you were never here.  Good bye and they delete everything.

The above is just an example but thats a common one..

Thanx Dog. I knew it was something like that I just couldn't see her being the kind of girl to get herself de-listed...live and learn I guess...
