I think the ability to grant someone access via a one time use password is a great idea.  I think a face photo would work fine behind a one time password, if the lab took a face photo each time the results were posted.

We all choose our own accepted level of risk, Since I believe few here are keen on sex in a Hazmat suit...

Yes, wearing a condom is great... but still not a guarantee that an STD cannot be transferred.  Condoms do fail, and even without the condom failing, STD can be trasferred through close contact.  The risks are lower, but they are even less when both parties prove they have been recently tested!

This would also allow proof that both parties are getting tested on a regular basis.  I would hope most of the ladies are doing so, but I'll bet that some do not.

I was thinking how great it would be if there was reliable way to know if the provider you're considering a date with was free of STD's (sexually transmittable diseases).

There are medical testing labs here in Houston that will do any blood test you want with no doctor required in the transaction. I think at least one of these labs is nationally franchised.

My idea is that the medical testing company could have a web site where STD tests could be posted. Each post would have a photo of the client. Obviously no names would be attached to the posts; each client would be assigned an ID number. The date of testing would be obviously be included and updated regularly.

The provider could give an access number to the web site that would allow the prospective client a one time access to her test results. By controlling access to the site with a one time access code privacy to the client would be assured. No one could check test results without the permission and knowledge of the client.

It would also allow the provider to require or encourage her prospective clients to join the testing service so that she could check out their test results. She might give a price break to encourage participation.

The testing company would be reluctant to market the service by targeting sex workers due to legal issues (facilitating prostitution); but the service could be marketed to people outside the sex business just as a way of screening your date. The service would be usefull for gays, sexually active straights, and swingers (wife swappers).

No offense brother Joe but advertising 4 prov. Seems 2 b a huge issue I.e. Verification of a picture can u imagine the confusion with "test results" ?

It should work. The sex worker/provider wouldn't be able to provide a code number to access the web site unless she was actually a member.

The photo on the lab test web site would match her face which the hobbiest could verify at the time of the session. It's simply a way of providing the results of recent std test to a potential hobbiest/client with the source being a third party to insure the legitimacy of the test.

Phony photos in the provider's ad is not an issue.

I think having your results online at a reputable, very well known testing lab that is reputable and established is a good idea.  I personally would not want my picture floating around anywhere.  If someone wanted to feel comfortable and see results, the best time to see them is when you walk into their place and watch them log onto the site.

Or, you could just wear a condom :)
