I have been reading and contributing to this board for several months now, and have noticed that their seems to be a lack of real discussion outside of people looking for information on a certain lady or ladies advertising that they will be somewhere. It seems to me that there is a lot of things that are very specific to this community that could be discussed in this forum. Is the problem that everything interesting has already been discussed several times? Or is that the people who come to this board come to get information and leave?

that you pretty much nailed it.  I see 4 things happening in this "forum"

1.  Hobbyists or potential hobbyists looking for info.  Sometimes (often) they don't bother to do their own research and rely on others to do the work for them.

2.  Girls advertising.  It's natural and expected.

3.  Girls advertising under the "guise" of conversation.  I'm not saying all, but some obviously do.

4.  Hobbyists and providers having real discussion, with no solicitation or offerings on either side.  No ulterior motive and honestly, truly, wanting to discuss a topic or get to know one another.  This is far and few in between.  I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but often there's a catch.

It really would be nice if some of the girls have an honest-to goodness,  interesting discussion without adding, "And hey, by the way, I'll be in Bumfuck, Arizona on the 11th and then I'm onto Brooklyn, NY from the 15th-18th!  Come see me!" after each (or most) posts.

And it would be nice if some of the men add more than "TGTBT??!!!111."   I'm sure some of the ladies would partake in conversation if we have something interesting to say.

Just my 2 cents.

Glad to see that I am not the only one that would love to see more conversation here.

So, only my opinion......

I am not sure what other boards you review but I have read lots of discussions on HA.  Some on MyRedBook.......(sp).

HA is more of an online community in my opinon and TER is so much more of a review board and a provider screening site.  Now on HA, I read the same stuff over and over and I also notice some peeps post the same questions on both boards.

If you have noticed, all Mods and most regulars do their best to make providers feel comfortable here.

Personally, I feel the mods and the regulars do an excellent job at sniffing out the scammers so any provider who decides to post here may feel a bit uncomfortable based on the above.

What types of additional discussions do you typically read on other boards?  Only curious?  Are they on topic?

At the end of the day, we are all here to have fun so hope our board, as much as it is a review site and a scammer alert board, its also a great place to discuss anything related to the topic and sometimes, even off topic.

Take care,

Dog

This is a civilized board you go to HA and see the racial division and bitterness. HA has good contributors but overall it's a big pissing contest. I stay here for useful info no need to venture down a dirty alley

I hear ya, which is what gave me the idea to start the "Expectations" thread.  So far it hasn't picked up steam.  Allison, who seems like a genuinely down to earth person with no ulterior motives, participated, and someone left a snarky response (as if I literally or purposely would cum on the ladies' bedsheets).

Other than that, nothing.  Maybe people are busy, but it did get 85 reads.  So maybe this review site is more about "411 on XYZ! Is she TGTBT?" and girls advertising than anything else.  Will be interesting to see who'd like to discuss other things than just about the sell.

Agree with the Doggy.  I think that this board has the potential to be whatever admirers want it to be.

If you are interested in feedback and reviews of specific ladies.....there is plenty of information, and I think that ER hobbyists are sincere in their postings and don't just do it to see their thoughts in print.  So from this perspective, ER is a valuable guide as to service, price, location, overall quality, etc.

If you are interested in other hobbyists thoughts on specific subjects related to the "game", there is no lack of contributions on the part of others who are interested in the same subjects.

Of particular value are the contributions of providers to the discussions.  The providers who contribute are true professionals who are committed to making the hobby the best it can be, as they work very hard to be the best they can be themselves....for us.

So, in summary, I think ER is able to provide value in many directions....it just depends how hard we work to take it there.

I am here to learn, and from what I have been reading so far, some of this is scaring the hell out of me on a few different levels. There is a stereotype in the minds of the general public which grew from the 1900's but became a popular myth in around the 1930's through the 1950's due to mass media (books primarily but film and word of mouth i.e. ("Urban Myths"). Of course, I'm referring to the "Man who finds woman has penis goes crazy and ends with a beating or even murder" myth, with the "woman" being the "not so innocent" victim. This scenario may have happened in real life some time, but I highly doubt very often, which is the case with such myths. Now what I have been reading here smacks of a reversal of the situation. Providers using altered or even fake pics of another person to lure in a client?. Shady "pimp" types lurking about who may be intent on violent crime?. Criminal "Providers" who are common thieves and con-artists?. I could go on, but you get the picture, this is the stuff of some of the worst written pulp fiction, except this is real life(!).  In this reversal, the person would deserve a good smackdown for doing some of these types of things, not merely seeking a bit of pleasure, as in the Urban Myth scenario.  Knowledge is power, but some of this knowledge, to put it mildly, is disturbing. I will continue to increase my knowledge here and hopefully will one day have a pleasant experience when finally prepared to go to the next level and take the plunge...
