Yep, or they can open the door that goes to the room next to you. It did not happen to a customer but it did happen to a very well reviewed provider in Vegas recently.  You are always at risk in hotels, thats for sure.  I would never meet an non reviewed provider at a hotel. Too risky.

how safe do you feel once your in a motel with a provider ? can  LE barge in unprovoked??

so your telling me if im in a room with someone and there is no cause for LE to bother me such as seeing some transaction they can come into my room ,is this america or russia 1962??

No, not Russia 1962, it's the paranoia that conservative America still has with sex.  It's a terrifying irony: Conservatives claim they want less government involvement in our lives, but then they want a government that can dispense with human rights as it pleases.  For example, how many states still outlaw anal intercourse?  Too many.

They use colorful flavor text in most states like all acts of anal intercourse illegal except by married couples but outlaw same-sex marriages. Or they levy light fines and make you stand trial ala marv albert and then eventually drop the charges to a misdemeanor. As long as the right people get paid and you get humiliated publicly.

It is a well settle matter of law that police MAY NOT barge in uninvited, without a warrant:

"Until a hotel guest's lease of the room expires or he checks out, the room is like a home. United States v. Jeffers, 342 U.S. 48, 51-52, 72 S. Ct. 93, 96 L. Ed. 59 (1951)."

Note, I am not a lawyer and this should not be construed as offering legal advice.  I am merely quoting information found by doing some basic research.

Reading that though it seems as if that particular case the people involved werent even in the room at the time the police entered they paid the janitor money to search and seize dope.

I think if they are knocking on your door and you are with a provider the time for paranoia is a lil out the window lol. I'm fairly certain that you can step outside the room and talk in the hall but once they are in the room anything in plain sight or if they decide to be talkative to the provider thats on you. But im no lawyer either or i would know this answer :(

they cannot enter with out permission, but once you open door you are in trouble if they want to claim something ion plain sight allowed entrance, however cops are not known for following the law, that is for pussies. What happens is they see you drive up, they see you have a whore (they know who the whores are better than you) and they say you made an illegal transaction, like they say they saw you hand him/her money, and then thy have an excuse to get you busted. If you have ever been to court it is more like fantasy land, the cops make the shit up and the judge takes their word on everything and you are fucked (that is why you always want a jury trial if you can afford it).
