It seems as though participation on this board is dwindling - is this true? The last 4 or 5 days in particular but something's not right here - any thoughts? I personally miss the leadership of the moderators on this board !

Only so many 411s that i can read.  Also i think in general compared to other boards, there is very little provider contribution, for the exception of some of the regulars of course, that tends to increase participation

What other boards?

It has definitely dried up for sure.  I can not say that is from removing the mods, I have mixed opinions on that topic.  I still log in every few days to read the latest or see whats up and the messages are not flowing.  A year ago, it would take all three of us mods to pitch in so the 50-100 posts could be reviewed and released. And thats not even counting the members who were not moderated.

Regarding the majority of posts.  Most are 411 requests for providers that have tons of available information, followed by members, Mods, or even providers trying to bust the fakies and scammers.

Being a provider, the above + the fact that this website is a review site which can be quite candid and critical, it isn't exactly the best environment for most girlz.  The old saying, "you can't make everyone happy" applies here.  Even if the provider was top notch, but maybe did one thing wrong during the session, they pay for it here, reviews get posted, comments on the board get read.  As a provider, its almost impossible to get stuff removed.  TER is good about listening and doing whats right but sometimes the proof that what was written about them is incorrect can be hard to prove.  In addition, some of our TER friends who have a presence on the board or have reviews try to use TER as leverage to get a lower rate, longer session, etc.  I have received feedback from many providers that clients threatened to post a crappy review if they did not get what they wanted and also said they would post a 10/10 review if they got a price break.  

Looking at this from a providers point of view, the main reason for them to participate here is to
build their reputation and make more money.  Most providers leave because it takes alot of time and effort every day to see a return on their investment by participating.

Regarding the "Other Boards", they are all about the same from a discussion perspective.  I know of one (HA) that tends to have more traffic but its more than just a review site and message board.  It has more features, equating to freebie porn, thus more folks hitting it.  

While I enjoyed being MOD, especially early on when I had new, solid, valuable info to relay, shit happens , often for a reason and life goes on....

Not sure but I think I've been participating on this board on & off for about 4 or 5yrs now - mainly to learn the ins & outs of this hobby of ours- with a little bit of humor mixed in as well for the most part it's been very interesting- but I def think this board works a whole lot better w the mods, they're like coaches on the sidelines & they were very good at it , they kept it all flowing forward & tried to expose the frauds no matter who they were & we all know Dog was the leader of that pack no disrespect 2 anyone else but 4 me he was the point man here & he's still tryin - for the well being of this board bring'm back !
