iPhone is so 2010.

Problem is, the Android market is so hit-and-miss, with some models outstanding and others... well, not so much.  I'll probably upgrade eventually -- hell, I'll likely be forced to before long -- but unless I change providers, my options are limited to what AT&T offers.  (Plus, I'd be forced to get a data plan, even though I don't do text, and currently have no interest in doing web or e-mail from a phone.  Call me a grouchy Luddite, but all I want is a PHONE, not a handheld do-everything-you-don't-want device, and for now, my Motorola RAZR V3 does everything I need, and it doesn't need a data plan.)

I agree.  My comments are relative to iPhone.  I'm comparing smart phone to smart phone.  The fact that smart phones are pretty stupid is a given IMHO.
